      Doesn’t the LS3 and the L99 use different pistons and cranks?

    • @RebelGarage508

      The pistons have reliefs for the heavier valves on the l99 which decreases the compression ratio. Im not sure about the crank, I assume its the same.

      @@RebelGarage508what would you recommend doing to the motor? I have a 2014 Camaro it used to be twin turbo but I have no idea what was in the motor from the old owner. But now I am switching to big single turbo. Would u recommend just doing a full tear down?

    I’ve had my engine out for a few months and just installed it back in the car only issue is I forgot how a lot of the harness was routed so this video will be great for me as you have the engine in tact so I can refrence the routing of accessories and wiring. Thank you for this post

      Depends on the damage. If its just the connector that got damaged id just replace that.

    Planning on doing the l99 to ls3 swap and stepping up the cam on mine. You think anything making over 500hp on these transmissions calls for a new torque converter?

    • @RebelGarage508
      @RebelGarage508  7 месяцев назад

      Converter depends on cam needs and practical use.
