I love it that with the new sim update the handling for taildraggers improved so they now feel MUCH more convenient while taking off. Also this cub looks really cute (after all it’s hard to spoil a cub), will definitely get it when it’s released. Thanks for the vid!

The J-3 has the perfect stall indicator in the lower door. The door will begin gently luffing just before the stall, providing the perfect indicator during the flair. I really miss this feature in the cub sims I have flown, where the open lower door stays firmly glued in place when flaring for landing.

CAS is nowwhere in the net, discord is for being, nothing there. I hope we will be warned about the release date... In Poland, we call those companies "Bush companies" - no traces of them whatsoever, no web page, nothing... Alas, this usually means "do not give them any money".

Yeah, it's an awesome Cub, but I personally still wait for a classic Super Cub with Flaps and Bush Wheels. Not a xCub, Savage Cub or anything, just a PA-18 with 150 or 180 horses and a pair of big wheels :D

My favorite piloting experience to date was a super cub on floats. Also have a soft spot for cubs in general thanks to my first and still favorite RC plane being a cub.
With floats this thing would be an easy purchase.
That's a planned feature according to the Dev, I want it too!
I love these lil birds so I'm definitely looking forward to snatching this one.
Shame on the timing since my joystick just broke the other day though.
I have so many planes in MSFS that I thought my hangar is full. But there is always room for a nice little Cub. Good idea to add some vibrations, absolutely love that on the helicopters by Taog's hangar.
Honestly, the cub is just a pretty perfect 'lil one' for any hangar.
Looks great! I kinda wish you'd increase the sim sounds a bit though. I always find it hard to hear the engines in your videos. Obviously don't want to drown yourself out but I feel they could be a bit louder. Just my 2c!
I got it on your recommendation and love it. You can get a girl in the back by using the default MSFS avitar either solo or with the CAS girl in the front.
If you click the people within the aircraft on the tablet, they *can* become visible in the cockpit.
I find that out after!
Nice to have an original cub. I’m going to get it……because I have a cunning plan and lots of time. Now if I can just get a Stinson Reliant.
Happy to hear that it responds well to a bit of, "Slipping", it's far easier to see the runway on finals, especially when there's a front seat passenger. 😧😨 😿💩 👀😃🛝😁 😹😻😍😘😎

I think the reason for having the woman only in the forward seat is the heaviest person is to sit in the rear for weight and balance purposes. When you fly the J-3 series alone you sit in the rear seat.

Oh I love the Cub. My computer was stolen, so I don't fly any longer. Cannot afford a new one, so your channel is very good. My first language is not English. What do you mean by the flying is "visceral"? I like your videos.
Hi, to answer your question, Visceral, in this case, means it's very much, 'hands-on' or 'feeling it through the body' or 'seat of the pants'. type flying.
This is not what you get from most simulated aircraft, where you don't have the feeling of actually 'being-there' in the cockpit, whereas AvAngel means she could almost 'feel' the aircraft, its weight, movement and control responses.
Can you not position the camera in a static position by the aircraft, or inside it, at the start ? We have to sit for over two minutes watching trees and wooden walls pass by, before getting a proper look at the plane.
Oh this one looks lovely, much better than the Flight Replicas L-4 (which I also like ok)

Real ones didn’t have them They flew by feel the didn’t fit many instruments, welcome to real flying!

I regularly have to skip the first minutes where you leave the "flyby" on, as it's very distracting to watch when objects keep blinking into the whole screen. I think it would be an improvement if the videos started from a fixed angle, these flybys are often not useful due to the proximity of obstacles.

Nothing even remotely similar. This blows the BT out of the water and then some!

Looks good overall, but one of pet peeves is present: too opaque/milky window glass. I really don't like that at all. P.S. can you hide the tablet?

Not sure if it is just me, but I find the wing struts, the cockpit struts and the window frame struts a little thin. And I would love to see some aging and wear on the textures...

Do you happen to know the site of CAS? The discord is dead. The only post reads "please, be civil" and the comments are disallowed. Honestly, with that level of communication, I do not trust them at all and would have trouble to be civil if the discord was open.
There’s a full discord, you’re in the welcome channel! I don’t know why you’d be rude because of a discord error. I’m not sure there is a date but the developer communicates regularly in that very discord

I want it, I want it, I want it!!! I’ve been dying for a good cub. Some of the previous ones have let me down. I was hoping A2A would have put it out, but by the looks of things, this is on par! To the developer, you definitely have at least one eager customer 😁
If the solo flight is rear seat only, there should be an option for a female at the back seat, but in FM config, the male is naturally placed at the back as he is usually heavier. We can get very 21st-c. and get a fat woman for the back seat and a skinny boy in front... I mean, I support the full customisation of the crew. Not for equality reasons, but for fun. As you can change their native beautiful avatars into MSFS ones, the problem is solved... except the quality of their avatars Is better
It urkes me, flying the classic Cub in the back seat. I dont take back seat to ANYONE!
It’s how it was done then in most planes.
@@AvAngel ... never mind "... then...", it's how it's STILL done, mostly anyway, even when there is NO passenger. Plus, most of the controls are meant to be accessed from the rear seat and either difficult, or impossible, to operate from the front seat/cockpit. 😂

Thanks for the review, but 'Stunning' is catchy.. but I didn't see anything very interesting in regard of what we already have is this category of planes (free or payware)... it's really basic, with a plastic looking (interior is fake perfect)... maybe just early preview, but so much better choices in sim right now (just my opinion, still love your reviews)
There is to be fair a dirty version too, but i do want to see the clean a bit more 'real' myself.
It is stunning, especially given the fact we rarely get aircraft with these options and functions available. Especially bush planes.
@@AvAngel ... meh (I know just a preview, but no GPS holder??)... for stunning I have in mind Gotfriends or Parallel //42, or just the excellent free mod from Bagolu modified 172. Just my opinion, but couldn't resist to comment on ''Stunning'', still appreciate all your goods reviews, they are Stunning 🙂
Honestly I think it is, its got so many features, functions and mechanics that its up there. I stand by my word choice.
Bought it yesterday and not keen on it. Looking left and right is clipping the pilots head, textures inside are awful. And the plane on start up drifts all over the place.
Disable the pilot then

That's the thing, its NOT well covered... its honestly one of TWO J3s in MSFS, the other being really mid, this, being a full depth simulation with more features than you can imagine. It's ... actually the opposite of what you said?
