I say build a foot hammock... With a combination fan and heater under the hammock. This would be a solid 4-5 puzzle piece wide project. Make an app to control it and add hydraulic or otherwise motorized height adjustment to account for sitting up and laying down most comfortably. This could also be accomplished by making the hammock itself adjustable by altering the slack, just have the hammock roll and unroll into a cartridge with a geared motor. I'd also recommend designing the puzzle piece base to have lock clips to lock the foot rest in place with some good old fashioned friction and pressure.
I'm sure you've noticed by now that it's tricky using superglue with acrylic. The fumes from the superglue reacts with your fingerprints and can easily ruin the acrylics. If you use gloves or work under strong ventilation you'll have a much greater chance of your work coming out perfectly. 😊
8:24 I love the little detail of the paddle under the sofa. It might not seem like a lot for a 5 second clip, but just an extra touch can make it look so much different.
I think you're totally wired to make necessary inventions. This video was epic!! Please do more of this. I personally love when people stretch their comfort zone.
The door pulls and neon sign look dope! If the pingpong tray took over 9 hrs on the Bambu printer, it would have taken days on any other. I love how the rope LED looks and really want to make a project with it sometime. Nice studio upgrades! Thanks for sharing!
Next time u make that type of sign only peel the letters out not the outline and it's a perfect template, and u don't need to etch into the acrylic. At my sign shop we make a template with vinyl, like a negative of the sign. Stick it on glue the letters down and peel it back up. Use a low tac vinyl though.
With the filament handles you also color coded your kitchen area so if someone asks "wheres the Coffee at?" you can reply "bright green cabinet" or some mess. Another lovely added benefit
What I would do with that sign is make two of them, give them a mirrored back panel to hide the wires, then place those back to back so it's a double sided sign.
My man, your Fusion 360 skills are inspirational. Watching you work has inspired me to dive back into the software - thank you so much for so much creativity and how much fun you have on your channel!
Someone needs to make a break down of this video! That was the most entertaining presentation of making the most boring things. Jeez, there were sooo many brilliant techniques in this video!
Been a cabinet installer for over a decade. As cool as the pulls you made are, I gotta say that knob pulls suck. A bar pull is easier to use and more secure. When you got your hands full of mugs or something and are trying to put them away, but you forgot to open the cabinet, it's easier to hook a finger in a bar pull than to try and pinch a knob.
His knobs have a flat back so he could hook a finger behind them. The think I hate about the knob pulls in my kitchen is that they are always coming loose.
Loved this video! A little suggestion: I think your studio could really benefit from some acoustic treatment. There's a lot of reverb on your voice, which isn't always optimal for video. Just a thought 😊 Keep up the good work!
About the pingpong accessory holder, you should try and create a pingpong ball dispenser, so that you can store more balls and the convenience of getting a ball when you lost the ball somewhere in your studio
Could you please make a knife that is kind of shaped like those crinkle cut makers - a handle that's parallel to the blade, so you just go straight down? (kind of shaped like a capital "D" where the blade has a slight rock to it like a pizza cutter, and you hold the flat side) It seems like it would be a fantastic knife alternative for people with a variety of disabilities - I used it in the kitchen as a child because it was safer, and it's much easier one-handed than a normal knife. It would also let you use your elbow or shoulder as the rotation point for chopping, not your wrist. I don't have any way to bring it to life or market myself, but I would absolutely love to see it! (and honestly, use it, I wear wrist braces often)
how long before that hook rips out of the table? I would recommend attaching it to the side, which may have issues depending on material. But the better option would be a part that fits on the side and sandwiches the desk between arms. You could still have a fastener if you are concerned about material stress, but I imagine you could make one that wouldn't require any fasteners.
We usually remove the masking tape and glue a normal sticking tape, (I don't know how it is called, but in portuguese is "dupla face") and the when we engrave the letters we just align and stick them in position. But you have to cut with the tape face down or your acrylic will be kinda burned.
Invention suggestion Flop flips! Ever have someone following you? Wear these and it’ll be solved The bottom of the flop flips looks like your going the other way Now you never have to worry abt the person who is following you ;)
The ping pong invention is one or your all time inventions. Can’t believe that isn’t already a product. There is so much there too, different colors, logos, etc
Replace the wires for the "neon" sign with some proper gauges enamel copper wire. It stands out less I think. Looks Good though, and you can follow the contour of the dot on the I to hide the wires in there all together.
You should make a cover you put on a monitor for when you have the screen split with different tabs that covers the search bar area at the top and the task bar at the bottom
Use a piece of real filament on each knob, pull out a few inches, tie them together to keep the cat from opening the cabinets and knocking stuff to the floor. 😻
I laughed so hard when he swooshed his hands above the keyboard pretending that he's typing something when he was explaining how he designed the filament holder like he's doing it in real time
This is EXACTLY what 3d printers are great for. One-off super custom fun fixes and improvements.
Dont think I didnt notice that awesome initial shot of you talking / printer timelapsing + camera zooming then grabbing the print... NOICE!
I can’t lie I was proud of that one.

The cabinet that's entirely booze definitely makes some of the stuff he's thought up make a LOT more sense.
Exactly my thoughts
Unnecessary Drinking 🤣
thats a lot of jack
Door handles that are miniatures of what’s inside would’ve worked too.
You should make a giant version of the filament spool as a table with a glass top 😊

There are acrylic glues too. The one I got is called weld-on 4.

Agreed!
Petition for him to make a channel called ‘Useful Inventions’ so that we can see him make useful inventions that help us with our problems!
That’s a really good idea

Your level of productivity and broad skill set never ceases to amaze me!
Hear, hear!
You should put the signs above the 3D printers but put “Brewing” under it so it says, “Unnecessary Inventions Brewing”
and the brewing part is a neon tube with lights starting to glow when something is actually printing
@@theobaldvonthorhausen3049 that would be awesome
Yes
For the Filament spool cabinet hinges, it would be fun if they could spin as well. adding a slightly unnecessary feature to it
The fact that he left one cabinet without a handle 💀💀💀

wow, that time lapse of the printing at the beginning and the smooth transition of the hand to the object is awesome!
I totally want to sneak in just to replace the ping-pong balls with fresh eggs.
How can you be better at 3d printing than soldering???
10:08 LOL, literally the reason you created the ping-pong holder

When you were designing the handles, i thought it was gonna be HUGE
quite the opposite actually
Those filament spool handles look like mini rainbow Oreos!
Make some of the filament spools with different amounts of filament to look like you have used them

Put it on the ceiling it's unnecessary isn't it 😂.
I think the sign should go in the lobby
Love the Ping Pong Paddle Pad.
Can we just appreciate the patience this man has
definitely think the sign will look good in the middle of the wall were the 3d printers are and then you put like pictures all around it
The blue you used for the logos is literally my favorite color!
I’d love the STLs for the handles to use in my studio 🤩
its weird that no one has copied your idea and sol it off on online, cause some of them are really too handy and some will even give money for it!
Put the sign on the wall over the printers. Its a big, open, bare spot. Plus then we can all admire it during your videos

You should put the logo right between the arch windows 😉

There's a thing called a Hero Clip. It comes in a variety of sizes and hooks on places like tables, doors, chairs and desks. It's a great item.
I HAVE AN IDEA FOR AN INVENTION: It’s called the “Poetry Maker” It uses randomizers to make different lines, so you can make cool unique pieces!
Put the logo on to of your 3d printers or over your door

Use the suction saver for the drawers

Couldn't you just print spools and wind the real fillament instead of printing fake winding middle? 😊
should have put hashes in the blue where the letters would be so the glue has somthing to bond to
the superglue actually holds super well already and it sets quickly.
You should hang the sign over the 3d printer wall because its kinda plain there.
The ping pong invention is one or your all time inventions. Can’t believe that isn’t already a product. There is so much there too, different colors, logos, etc
Restaurants should attache those hooks to tables for purses.
Who else mentioned that he should put it over the 3D printers. Since that is the heart and soul of the channel it would make sense for it to be there.

For CNC acrylic, shouldn't you peel the protective film after it is cut and not before?
you could have used the AMS to 3D print the filiament spool in one go. But, like the idea!
I think that sign would be cool sideways on that pillar but I’m not sure it would fit
