- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this new shop with me video! HomeGoods & Tj Maxx Shop With Me! I went to homegoods and Tj maxx and shopped around to see all of the new things they have for spring and valentines day! They had so many new items it was fun to shop around! And I was baby free which made it even more exciting! Thanks so much for shopping with me and I was happy to get out and just do something fun with you! Baby free? Whhhattt? 🎉 Our third and final just turned 6 months old, and I ran to Kroger alone yesterday and it was strange and also heavenly to have just a moment. I put the carrier on out of habit when I got out of the car before it dawned on me. 🤣🤣
Good morning! After a whole night of a baby not sleeping, he finally did just in time for a cup of chai with Kim. Finished boards last week - thank you for lifting my spirits and keeping things cheery. U made this last year so much more doable. I cant tell u how thankful I am for your reliability.

I had a rat when I was your kiddos age, her name was Star (that's rats spelled backwards) and she was sweet. They are easy to train and teach and they are actually very clean. They are also super easy to take care of. Mine played rat ball, which was basketball but her size. She knew with every basket she made she got a treat. I miss her everyday and wished pets could live forever.

Kim, Alex needs a tiller for outdoors! I used to have a lady tiller that I loved. Went through two in my 30/50,s. It is a game changer for planting a kitchen garden, fruit trees, berry bushes👍, herbs, vegtables and an enormous amounts of self sustainable eatables. When you prep your soil correctly when you start your plantings from then on out the hard part has been done and you just add amendments yearly. Your yard is hughe and your weather is marvelous. Great family project! And your foods will be awesome. Go with non GMO seeds and plants if possible. Makes sense. You love food and you have so much energy. Get on that computer and start scrolling Seed (heirloom) places and mail order catalogs. Once you get it you won’t go back. Start up is worth investment. And you don’t have to buy an orchard. Start with one or two fruit trees or bushes. Read requirements for Ph before you plant so they produce. Just saying. Alex needs a tiller and this is a perfect time to get moving.
In the LARGE planters, I would put holes in the bottom of a plastic bucket, turn it upside down and put it in the planter UPSIDE DOWN!
YOU MAY EVEN NEED 2 BUCKETS LIKE THAT...
THEN SET A FAUX OR LIVE plant in it's own pot INSIDE.
Whether faux or live you will need drainage.
Do you fertilize you plants?

Those little warming animals were a life saver with upset tummies for my youngest kid, they don’t get super hot just enough to be soothing.
I love the large tall planters what you do isi.l them with the pool noodles then add your dirt and add your plant.. if you fill that entire planter with dirt cost a lot amd to heavy
I Love the Clearance aisle. So many treasures to find so many things that you can purchase off of market retail price. I enjoy shopping better when it's on clearance. So yeah you can show more of the clearance aisles. I truly enjoy them😂❤😂
I bought white lights and red tinsel wreathes on sale after Christmas for Valentines day. I hang the wreath on the front door with a heart or some Valentine thing on it. The lights can decorate my front hall or wrap around the wreath. I'm not a decorator but I want to be the "lady across the room." :)

I'm in NC and my HomeGoods has some beachy things, but yours hit the jackpot!! Plus yours is always neat and stocked.
We don't do anything for Valentine's day, but I have always gotten my 3 boys just some fun candy. Now that they are older, I still get them candy, and I started getting them a pair of funny boxers a few years ago and they love it. I get them a funny pair in their stocking each year too. I think it's one of their favorite gifts. Those little heated animals are a total hit with kids. I got them for my nieces and one for my Goddaughter, and they were like the favorite gifts of the season. My husband keeps looking at me like I'm a lunatic, because I can't stop laughing at different stuff you are saying. When you said "Wait, are people gonna crack their teeth on these little balls?" about the sprinkles, I started giggling like crazy. I always am freaked out that someone is going to mess up their teeth on those, and my family acts like I'm a total spaz. LOL This was a super fun video. Your TJ MAXX has waaaayyyyy better stuff than mine does!
I’d love to see a “Florida” giveaway. Your love of all things flamingo, beach, etc. Just stuff that screams Florida and your fun style!!
My daughter loves the stuffed animals like the wolf for her cramps. She says it's a cute heating pad and gives her joy during that miserable time 🤷♀️

The Mexican pottery was out. I got myself the giant cat plant pot. A few yrs ago i got the lady frog pot. they look splendid by my outdoor redwood hottub. my little sanctuary
I was reluctant with rats for pets but my daughter did a lot of research so when she was a high school sophomore she got her first two. She just graduated from college and has had seven more since the first two, my grandrats I called them. They are wonderful little pets but live only 3 years max and can have health issues so you want to be sure there is a vet who handles rats. Don't count them out but Avalina should do her research

hi Kim, that kissing statue in the form of a heart it's name in many states of Africa it's called "lovely" or Saint Valentine it is originary from Africa so i've heard and it resamble love as a pair. It's usually made out of olive wood :) I have one from Egypt , but I've seen it in cabo verde islands also and there I found out the storry and the orrigin of it

Hey Kim! I’m in Colorado and our home goods sell beach stuff ALL YEAR and idk who buys it because not many people decorate for the beach in a land locked state 😂
We don't celebrate valentines day but my little girls middle name is love, so I like looking through the decor for her room ❤️
Kim, you need to go to a Lawn and Garden speaciality place. You can find really lovely planters in various sizes in the coolest concrete, terra cotta materials. Weather proof. I would think that being in Florida you could find these places all along the major roads. Check around and compare prices. Worthwhile investment. Take a picture of your entryway. Make sure you also get close up of the color or colors of house. That way you will end up with planters that give quality Pop. Oh, make sure hole in bottom.

My oldest son had a boa constrictor. He got it when it was about as big around as my pinky and 18 inches long. By the time we had to find it a new home, he had is eight years and it was 8 feet long and as big around as the average thigh! We started raising mice for it and moved up to rats. He was super careful and none ever escaped, but it would have been a catastrophe if he had left the lid off of a cage full of 25 or so rats!
I live in Southern Ohio, and no beach yet, but we will have in May. I can’t get the Rae Dunn Disney in my area, not that I NEED it, but want a couple pcs. Love ya Kim. Away from the baby for a shopping trip makes you feel so good and not just a “mom” machine. Good for you and you look amazing.

There is variety of many nice things in each section of the store I am not in the business do I am just amazed like wow how do they do that it probably isn't just 1 person picks everything in the store. She mentions Amazon and I was thinking the style of some of the displays reminded me of a regional drugstore chain of stores where I used to like shopping like wow there is so much nice cool stuff on this shelf here and the drugstore sell some similar items

Yay! Shop with me video! I love looking at decor and getting inspiration 😊 I live in Ohio, and my Home Goods doesn't have beach themed stuff year round, so that is probably a Florida/costal thing.
What regional stuff do you have instead of beach things in Ohio?

Rats actually make amazing pets. They are super smart. You should really reconsider. But definitely do research on their care first.
Yes they sell nautical stuff in Denver even. There are those that have cabins up in the mountains that may have a pond or lake on their property I guess or those that migrated this direction.

My fav items are any candles especially dw candles, 100% cotton red kitchen towels, bath and body items like bath bombs, bars of soaps etc and of course a delicious treat such as the hunk a chunk oatmeal bites that I usually get from homegoods and costco thanks to kim , made me obsessed with it

Oh I meant to tell you, my daughter in love had a “gnome for the holiday” shower curtain in a busy bathroom this Christmas. Not only was it precious it was pretty too. Maybe Amazon? And the she matched the tile in shower to some of color in curtain. Look around for items 75 percent off for future years🤗

Believe it or not, dollar tree has those plant stands for $5 in the bonus aisle. They are in assorted colors, but can easily be spray painted in white if you preferred. But the colors are very beachy, very Florida, if you will. 😊

I used to be able to find cute spiral thick notebooks at tj max to and I haven’t be able to find them for a couple years now.
OML buy the cheese grater! It’s worth it. Such a time saver and easy to clean. Plus the kiddos love to help when they see me bring it out.
I got the cheese grater with the handle for Christmas. I love it and so does my husband since he always grated my cheese on the old box grater. Lol
Yesterday I bought the mixing bowl. Then baked a bunch of stuff that I didn't need to eat.
1. I was screaming at you to put the other fan scrubber back Kim!! 😆 🤣 😂
2. I seen another ecloth that might have been cheaper while you were lookin at the fan scrubbers!
3. Lemon verbena always makes me think of " half pint" from Lil House on the prairie

So many great things , my dad has a Volkswagen red beetle now when I see some thing that has a red beetle on it I will by it because it will be 2 year's the end of this month since my dad passed
