This actually works, I just slipped mine into a mavic zoom for a few seconds then into original charging dock and boom now getting green flashing lights from the charger.
My batteries were in a state of no light whatsoever.

I'm going to have to try this again. I originally charged all 3 in my hub when I first got my MA2. Everything was fine. They all worked. Now, this past weekend I go to fly and only 2 of 3 batteries were working. The "bad" battery won't light up, won't charge, and won't turn on. I did put it back in my drone and tried to power it up, but nothing. I immediately put it on the single charger without the hub and it still didn't light up or charge. I have an open ticket with DJI but I don't want to pay $65 just for them to look at it and tell me that I need to buy a new battery. I'm going to try this after work today.

That happen to me sometime ago with one Mavic Air Battery, and I start playing around and place the battery on the drone and switch on and off a few time then back on the charger and start charging. Hello Otto, I have Mavic Air drone since 3 years, the last few months I couldnt fly it much, but later I had some flights. But at the last flight, two of the batteries gave me "low voltage" warning and drone hovered down to the ground.I think they went in to sleeping mode or what? They dont charge in this way too in your video. What can I do?

I just bought a used fly-more for a ridiculous price of of £680, considering stated never used. Batteries wouldn't charge. Looks like the seller couldn't get them to charge (probably used multi-charger) - they wouldn't charge with single or multi-charger when I received it through the post. Tried this and it is the only think that worked. All three have charged and showing 'times charged' = 1 on each of them. Happy days and a big thank-you; I was considering returning it to seller, until I tried this 🙂👍

The lifespan varies greatly depending on how well you treat your batteries. Always charge them after draining them and never run them below 20% and never store them full or empty. Store at 65% charge and they will last a long time. You can replace the lithium cells but I only recommend that if you are sure in your capabilities because opening batteries can be dangerous needless to say

connect the tip that you would connect to the charging hub, directly to the battery contact. Just align the shape of the battery with the one on the cable

The main one and most important for me it's the sensor size, better pictures, better video quality, etc. Everything else is pretty much the same and there are things that are not really worth an upgrade, like masterworks, more sensors, etc. If you are happy with the quality that you have now with your sensor on the Air 2, I would wait until the Mavic 3 comes out or even the Air 3. I hope this helps

Why put a dead battery on a drone that’s generating no power. Common sense. Charging a new battery that’s dead on the charger didn’t work either. Guessing I’ll buy a new one.

I see. This video is intended for batteries that won’t turn on for the first time. If your batteries have been used and charged already in the past, and now they are not working, there is another problem with the batteries, although some people have said that my solution did help them having your same issue, but I cannot verify exactly what the conditions were. I would send your batteries to an authorized DJI dealer to check them out

This is dangerous.... if the battery is dead, replace it, period. Lipos build up a lot of internal resistance when dead and trickle charging it can result in a fire when flying.

The battery is not dead. It doesn't activate upon arrival, completely different things. It is a known issue. I wouldn't advice people into manipulating a dead battery. Thanks
