I know with my Mom's "many" years of depression, she always wanted lots of people around her. So maybe its different in everyone's case. When she was alone, she was distressed and felt unloved. Sadly, it made my brothers & their families distant from her because they didn't want to deal with her moods. She was widowed at a young age and felt deprived of a happy life. I always reminded her that she was loved by me and I took care of her to the end. I hope you find love Danny, even if it's only one person, that can remind you that you are loved!!!! BTW...Jesus loves You!!!! :O) ~blessings~

It most definitely is a case by case thing. Sometimes you can "feed" off the energy that a lot of people bring. That is probably what your mom was doing, she probably felt the love in the room, which is a great thing.Most of the time for me though, I will feel alone no matter how many people are around. I'm so sorry your mom had to deal with this.

ya found out later in life my dad was severe bi polar..its really makes ya feel so sad how they had to deal with crap ....and how you viewed what you htought was mean and it was not there fault

i made sure his last years he did what he wanted and enjoyed as much as possible till he passed on in 2015 ....his ex wife would have tried to put him into a home i made sure that never happened and he got to live with some freedom and such....
