My friend is using a Schacht Ladybug with Scotch tension. You are correct...no brake band on the WW. Are you using double drive?

what wheel are you using? is the scotch tension brake band over the whorl in the back on the bobbin? it looks like it.
my wooleewinder is yanking the yarn out of my hands. i have the drive band on the wheel whorl just as i can see here but i left the brake band just hanging...not attached to anything. i thought you do not use the brake band on the WW.... AM I WRONG?
i just got a Schacht flatiorn (used) with a WW..... so i am trying to figure it out. The WW website dies not give any info.
    TIA!

Are you using the bulky maiden with your Woolee winder? And can u use a bulky bobbin with the Woolee winder?

No, I am not using a bulky maiden. I can pack so much on a regular bobbin that I don't see the need for a bulky one. But I think if you have a bulky maiden you have to have a special bulky bobbin to go with it.
