Fantastic, detailed video. As a disabled traveler stuck in a wheelchair, I really wanted to see my options on this roundtrip SF to Alaska ship. Thank you!

Nice video. Thanks. Been on the Ruby twice. Love that ship. Was our first ship to cruise on. Have a booking February 1 2021 out of San Francisco a great port city.

Do you mind sharing if you stayed in an SF hotel the night before, how you got luggage and transport to ship? I am wheelchair bound, so trying to figure out how to get to the ship without renting a car from a hotel.

Great video as always. I’ve noticed the penthouse suite on this ship is practically identical to a mini suite on the p&o explorer

Thanks, Hayley. Yeah that’s right, the floor plan is basically the same. The mini suites on the older ships, like Explorer, are much better than the newer style. Basically a large square, with the double access bathroom/separate powder room. The new mini suites are narrow, and more like an extended balcony room.

Thank you for covering accessible cabins!! Just some suggestions- move camera slower; if you could show the features in the accessible bathroom ie the fold down shower bench so we can see the whole set up; knowing the height of the bed and if there is space underneath is crucial to most wheelchair users. Do rooms come with hair dryers, irons?

Thanks for watching! I know - it was very fast. Unfortunately that's the result of being part of a travel agent tour group. I had to hang at the back of the group to be able to film any of the rooms without a sea of bodies in the way haha! Then race around to find where the group had disappeared to. When I'm onboard ships for my own cruising, I have plenty of extra time so I'll try and access as many cabin types as I can including accessible for future videos. Thanks for your feedback!
