I remember a couple months back when half life alyx came out, the other half life games were free temporarily. as soon as I noticed that they were free, I instantly downloaded them and couldnt stop playing them. it was the best time Ive ever had playing games ever. and they also played surprisingly well on my slow pc. later you had to buy then to play them, but I still had the files and I was able to still play half life 2 Lol.

I utterly adore how this SOUNDS and FEELS like a surgical infiltration. No city razing weaponry like the combine usually use, or explosive charges to go loud. They snuck in in a genius way, unintentionally using the silos own false alarms against itself to lower suspicion. It feels amazing to analyze and play these games.
I just thought of this...I guess I'm just that slow. What if "abandoned in place" was in reality a reference to Freeman's later abandonment by Gman? I would think that it would be with the end of Episode 2, except Freeman isn't abandoned. Dog and Alyx are right beside him.
