Oils, contrary to popular belief are not moisturisers. Applying oil to dry hair is sort of useless because the oil will sit on the hair and not absorb. Spritzing some water before applying oil will help a lot.
All the hair management and nourishment can easily and cheaply be done at home! But we lack pertinent information about the process ! Thanks for your channel! IT’s information and very helpful❤❤❤❤❤
This is great advice, I am starting a natural hair journey and getting the itchy scalp so it’s time to 🧼 wash. Noticing how you actually respond to your followers is great 👍. Thank you I will be washing these braids tonight!!!❤❤
Yaaassss..your skin looks great. My husband said we look alike QUEEN. WE are BEAUTIFUL. I wanted to see can I wash my hair with cornrows...I found your channel. Very Grateful to find your channel ❤
Dope I just did this routine! It’s good! Thanks for sharing! I had no idea I could wash my braids lol I thought it would like make my hair lock up or something.
This is so sweet. Thank you.❤️ It’s my way of showing my supporters that I love and appreciate the time they take to comment and engage with my videos. It means a lot to me
Thanks for all the info ive just recently started the hair journey thingy🙈 and this is by far the most informative video ive watched so thankyou so much!😎
I always wash my cornrows shame, as a matter of fact, I'm washing them tonight! Thanks for the reminder. I should try out that argan oil shampoo. Great Video!
I apply oil to my hair my protective hairstyle daily I purposely get the daily hydration oil. And I do not use any cream leave-in conditioner. I use a hydration spray leave-in conditioner. This is my hair so do not quote me on this. But I leave my cornrows in for 3 months to make sure that my hands is out of my head. And my hair is so long people ask me how do I grow my hair. The first thing I say I leave it alone.
I will definitely try it, it will be my first time doing it, but I trust you when it comes to hair care 😘,ur good at it, and every hair care routines that u Post ,when I try it results always show ❤️😍
Hi my darling P love love how you wash your cornrows and definitely taking notes for my gals. Enjoyed this wash day video. Aibo, your skin gal is over the glow. Looking beautiful 😍 🤩
Will definitely try this. My scalp gets flakey after about 4 to 5 days. Can I do this every 4-5 days with a cleansing protein conditioner (rather than a shampoo)?
I have been carrying my cornrows for a month now without washing coz I just couldn't find the time or energy to take it down to wash & moisturise. So thanks for this video. Also you mentioned in the beginning that you use water & alcohol to melt your wig glue. Is it any type of alcohol or is there a specific kind to use? Thanks.
I use rubbing alcohol from Dischem, I use this to clean up after removing the band. That white residue, spray rubbing alcohol on a wet wipe and clean up with a finger
This is a great video and so helpful. One question: will the cornrows dry all the way through with only air drying? I only ask because my braider sometimes tells me washing my hair whike braided can create mold within the braid. Thats why I asked about air drying.
I love this cholesterol conditioner a few it smells soo good. Love you lots sis Palesa. I know thus video is not about relaxers. If you don't mind, what relaxer are you using?
Hi, i was wondering if maybe you could help me, suppose i get a protective style, what should i do to it in order to maintain it, maybe on a daily basis or just a Normal routine, what should i apply on it if applicable?
Depending on the protective style, make sure you moisture your scalp and hair. If you intend on keeping it for long plan to wash your hair clear scalp build up. I hope that helps
Also is it ok for someone to shampoo there corn rows every 2 days or or fair aprt shold it be done am askeng because i currently shampoo every 2 days and would like to know how or if i need to change my routine well haveng my hair in corn rows
Hi, I’m a new subscriber. I like your video. How long will you be keeping these same cornrows in your hair? I have seen where one subscriber showed keeping them in for 3 months with washing and then take down and re-doing the cornrows.
Oh wow thank you soo much for this video 🙏🏽🙏🏽I always wanted to try washing my cornrows but thought it's a bad idea 😆 This year definitely going be be girls with clean hair🤞🏾Thank you😊❤
Hey Palesa , I have been watching your videos and they are brilliant 👏 I just wanted to ask why are relaxing your hair while you are always putting it in protective styles under wigs?
Wasn't aware I could wash my cornrows... Gonna give it a try this week, thank you♥️. Ohh and where did u get your spray bottle if u don't mind me asking ma'am? Love your hair content
I’ve been doing nothing but oil to my scalp every 2-3 days. Never knew about actual moisturizers on the hair nor damping it! Wow man wow.

@@PalesaM1 won’t the spritzed water make my braids fuzzy?
Don’t make them wet. Just a small sprits to make them damp

You can do weekly washes if your hair likes it. Alternate between a moisture and protein conditioner
I like your videos, they are very clear and understandable❤

You can use a hair dryer to ensure it’s completely dry
Thank you so much.@@PalesaM1
ah i love how your corn rows look hop my next rows look as good as yours
Thank you so much🥰🥰
@PalesaM1 no problem ^^
Wonderful: first time braids; 3/14, 24.
This was right on time❤.
Unfortunately, I washed one of my ‘rolls’ out:🥴
You’ll get the hang of it 💕
hiiiii, i love your videos, i am wondering how do you do to have the braid so straight, i had cornrows before and the braids were curly
My hair is relaxed(chemically processed.)
On the day I get my hair done I always have it blow dried to stretch it. I hope this helps
Definitely adding the DARK AND LOVELY ON my Must have health care list 😊🤞🏾
Bella amani oil is the plug 🔌🙌🏾

I use the mizani butter blends relaxer
How often do you wet your scalp and moisture your scalp then oil - daily or every two days 😊
I try moisturise and seal atleast 2/3 times a week
This really help me so much thank you!!!!
I’m so glad it helped😊
How often and frequently do you recommend washing your cornrows under the wigs? Trying to do better! Thanks for this upload. New subbie ❤
I try to wash every 2-3 weeks. I keep mine in for about 6-8weeks so I wash to clear build up and relieve itching
@@PalesaM1 do you oil the scalps in between washes?
@auburnrenaissance yes 2-3 times a week
I will give it a try some day, thanks for sharing sweetheart and the goal is healthy hair journey 😊
My scalp feels so good now! And my hair feels hydrated. You should definitely try it ❤️
Thank you for the clip such great tips, much appreciated!😊👍🏽
You are so welcome!
Love this routine. Thanks
Thank you❤️❤️
Hi, I like your video.
Thank you for share we your hair care routine. 🥰
I have never glued on wigs. For how long go they remain? Do you lave them on for up to 2 to 3 days at a time?
Depending on the type of adhesive you use

It’s a preference thing. Sometimes I keep them for 4 weeks. But anything from 6-8weeks is also fine with proper care

Hey Palesa, I hope you’re well
If you mind me asking, what oils do you use in your mixture?
Can’t tell you. You can buy a bottle from me though
@@PalesaM1 oh, I see. Where/how can I buy it?

Hey Aus'Palesa 😘 how do I get your hair growth oil hle. Please I need that oil for my hair.
Hey, please send me a WhatsApp wa.me/message/SOODNTIN7FF3G1
What happens when you leave the conditioner longer?
I normally condition my hair throughout the night, I wash it out the next morning
There’s honestly no need for that. That’s why products have time in the instructions. Leaving it for longer doesn’t necessarily yield more benefits
Is it a good idea to do deep conditioning with cornrows once a week??
Depending on what your hair likes or needs
how often do you wash your braids?
Once a week or twice a month
Thank you Sis P😘💐💞
Thank you doll ❤️❤️🥰
Hey Palesa , I have been watching your videos and they are brilliant 👏 I just wanted to ask why are relaxing your hair while you are always putting it in protective styles under wigs?
It’s a preference
Relaxed hair is fragile the protective styles help me to protect my hair from over manipulation of daily combing and styling
She did good
Thank you
