You should add a swiping test. I noticed a lot of Ringke cases have low side lip but high corner lip. Making it protective for the screen but also doesn't interfere with side swipes.
Hi Roy, I have been following you for many years and I enjoy watching your new video every time! I noticed that you like small phones and cases with a minimal design and I like it too!
Roy Florez knows his stuff ! This is the best case to buy for 12 euro. A kind of slim, perfect protection, good grip and stylish.🎉 this case and the ringke matt clear one ❤
These case gives good protection and looks phenomal. It has a downside tho which is heat. The case traps so much heat the phone gets way hotter than with other cases.
Indeed, I have no idea why its seemingly so hard to make a case with grip. The only cases with good grip seem to be Caseology Athlex and Nano, but they don´t have cases for the Galaxy S24...
@@fajrfighter I havent tried those cases, maybe I should. Could you comment on how "sticky" they are? Do they slip out of your hand when you rest the phone on your hand at an angle? The only cases that have grip that I have tried so far have been the spigen ultra hybrid and the ringke fusion, but i HATE clear cases
@@mazdaxc90 the Caseology Athlex and Nano cases unfortunately are not made for S24. I tried them for a Pixel 8 and the Athlex especially has good grip on the sides. As for not sliding in your hand at an angle, which is what I also search for, the best one for S24 for now is the official Samsung silicon case. I would like much more grip but can´t find it, even after having tried approximately 20 cases from the biggest brands. The Nillkin case "super frosted shield" had near perfect grip on my Xiaomi 9T pro and Xiaomi 12, but nowadays they make theses cases in a different material for newer phones such as S24 and Pixel 8 and they are as slippery as all the other cases.
@@fajrfighter Dang that sucks that its so hard to find good cases. Though have you tried clear cases? These ones are sticky on the back so it wont slip from your hand, but they also slide into your pockets perfectly, unlike silicone. I wish I liked clear cases but i hate the way they look.
Looks real nice. I would like a line or two somewhere just to give it some design. I'm looking at this or the Aug civilian. Anything else out there that's similar? Thanks
Hey, I have the s23 with both the Onyx and the Civilian. The Civilian is a bit wider and less grippy. It seems that the Civilian has more protection but I also dont feel that the Onyx is a slouch in the protection department either. If i had to choose one I'd probably go with the Onyx. It's considerably cheaper, better grip and lower profile. Note: even though it's slender I've dropped my phone with the Onyx and had no issues.
Thanks, I ended up getting the civilian. It doesn't have the grippy feel like you said but I don't notice that at all anymore. It's not like I have trouble with the case slipping out of my hands. It hasnt shown any wear which big for me. Overall I've been enjoying the case.
I don't understand why every case manufacturer puts those lips around lens cutouts. They are already recessed in the cutout - no need for more protection. The lips make it wobble.
@@xvideo7863It means they raise the central part and when you push on the side it tilts, like a boat in the sea :) (That is when you put the phone on the desk)
What a dumb comment. I've been rocking the ringke onyx and it's been fantastic, I've dropped my s24 several times, even on concrete, and my phone is in mint condition. A case doesn't have to be expensive to be good.

It’s the total package, feels good, no bulk, no fingerprints, looks good, not expensive. Checks all the boxes
Except heat dissipation channels

I just got this case this afternoon, and my phone is wearing it right now. So far, so good! Nice grip, and it looks very minimalistic!

Agree on this for some reason i feels hotter in the hand versus the ringke fusion x. Using it on galaxy s23.
Do the holes really near to the lenses create problems with pictures?
Almost perfect. If only this case was not SUPER slippery.

Did you notice any heating issue
Is this case slippery?
Have the same and it was a good decision

Can we use this case while still installing the camera bezzel protector ?
Edit, yes I boyght the lens ring protector and it is fit perfectly with this ringke onyx
Does this case feel bulky?
Not at all
That's like driving a new BMW with only liability insurance 😂
IMO Ringke cases are garbage why would u only spend 15.99 to protect your 1200 to 1600 dollar investment it doesn't make sense 😂😂
