This Long Virtual Run Hike takes us up Little Mount Peel, not far from Christchurch in New Zealand. This was longer and tougher than I expected. I brought the second battery and used it. Somehow the footage at the turn around was lost, though I don't know how. I didn't get to the top because I ran out of time (and probably energy!) The run was about 1 hour 45 minutes. Because footage was lost it doesn't sync with the metrics so I have left this video with no metrics. I hope this is ok and I hope you enjoy. Thanks for watching!

Awesome! Can't wait for the winter to let go in Norway and do some mountain trails myself. Keep them coming! 👍
Thanks, will do! Saw the last one - was great - and the spring has arrived!
Great to see my two fave trail runners talk to each other!
@@lalaalh3739 Yup, we're like brothers from opposite sides of the world 🤟 😊

Hey Benjamin! Congrats and well done! Fingers crossed for some travel before too long. Until then I'll keep filming!
I have run this several times. Still one of my favorites 😍🇨🇦
Saludos desde Monterrey gracias x tus vídeos ☺️☺️
Epic!!....Those views on the descent are breathtaking, there was so much to see, time just flew by, I must admit though Adrian, I did have a giggle in appreciation that it was you running through the midgie clouds and not me!! They are the bane of my life when we’re out herding sheep in the hills! Thank you so much for the effort you put into your videos for us it is so appreciated!
Thanks for your appreciation! The flies kept me moving. Shame to lose some of the footage - but oh well I guess I'll need to get back there. Life is tough! 😜
Enjoyed the run...! Thanks for the upload bro.
That was wonderful but very tough! Loved the view of the plains below as you were descending. The NZ Dept of Conservation does a really good job maintaining all the tracks.
Glad you enjoyed it! Was tough for me too!
Thx again for all your efforts putting this run together. Awesome quality.
All be well from Stittsville, Canada.
Glad you enjoyed it
Phew that was a hard run, but beautiful as always. Well done.
Yes it was! I didn't quite know what was in store that day!
I walk not run, but walking videos are generally too slow for my liking. Uphills like these are great for making me increase my incline too. Thanks
Grande ballade ! J'adore les sessions de plus de 45 min car c'est le temps de mon entrainement. Je me garde l'autre moitié pour mardi ;-)
Merci pour tes vidéos

I absolutely enjoyed my run!
Wonderful run with varied scenery and deserted trails meeting a single family. Stupendous views across open scrub and fields, gravelled river bed and clouds; tree ferns and ground ferns and mature woodland. Beautiful run which I did over 2 days. Have donated via Kofi in thanks for your great camerawork/editing which smoothed out what looked like a tricky track in parts!
Thank you very much! This turned out to be a tough run/hike. I totally underestimated it - must have been the Little in the name!
Amazing run to the top, going up and up, EPIC, love it!
Thanks!
So beautiful. Thanks
Welcome 😊
Awesome trail! Love the huge ferns. Can’t imagine the work involved doing this trail

Beautiful vid !
Thank you! Cheers!
Hello,
I love these videos. I'm training to do a sprint triathlon ATM and these videos are really wonderful. Thank you so much for all of the effort you put into them. I love hard music and want to use Spotify over the top of it. Is there any way I can do that?
Great video! I loved hiking in New Zealand and can’t wait to return. I’ve just bought the Go Pro Hero 9 and I’ve done a few virtual hiking videos myself. I love it now I can just focus on the hike 😁
Do you just use a head mount?
Sounds great! See you out here hopefully soon!
Awesome im in new zealand on RUclips
Brutal
👍👍👍👍👍
Great video! What kind of camera do you use?
In the description. Thanks!
@@virtualrunningvideos12 Ah thanks!, the image is excellent with it. I'm trying to do a couple of these kind of videos, but I really need to invest in a better camera for it. The shakiness from the one I'm using looks like its shot from inside one of those paint mixing machines.
How do you mount your camera? Smooth.
Hey, Jim. Most of the time I hold it. Thanks for watching!
