Teaching the REAL life lessons. THIS is why this show was good, as was it's predecessor. It discussed real issues that need to be understood by the next generation so that they can actually survive in the world.
This is what I loved about both of these shows. It didn't try to sugarcoat the "real issues" as you say or try to hide them or trivialize them. They came up with creative and respectful ways to teach us those issues so we could understand. Like the cultural week and sharing stories about heritage. Farkle's story was painful, but he still shared it. It MATTERED. And his friends were there to support him.
Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it. That's why History class is important. It's not about the dates, but about the events and how we can avoid making the same mistakes as those who came before us. That's why it's so important to not ignore history, not try to rewrite it, but to learn exactly how it was so that we can do better.
Evil argument: I remember the first time I heard that babies sin. I said, "What" (use Eric voice there), babies are so sweet and innocent, how could they possibly sin?! Then someone explained to me how they are hungry so they cry, when they don't get what they want they cry worse (temper tantrum) whoa.....which carries through until a parent teaches them patience. Hoh!, mind blowing. Okay.
But crying is the only way babies can really communicate until they get older and start talking, so I don’t really understand. We all cried when we got out of the womb, so did that make us ALL sinners from a very young age?? 🤔
One thing i really didn't like about season 3 is that Riley is SO INCREDIBLY closed minded about a lot of things and its the other characters to eventually fall to her way of thinking as oppose to Riley learning anything valuable in life
I wish I had this social study class ass soon as the dismissal bell ring and kids come into my social studies he starts yelling quickly quickly come in we don’t have much time when we still had the entire passing period left
Here's a debate for a good vs evil topic was Hitler evil. Now there are rules no anger no racist statements and only facts not opinions about him. For every point made I will counterpoint. Example if you say he's evil with your reasoning I will counter with a point that he was good and vice versa. Now let's try and keep it civil
