Flash went greedy expand upgrade terran here once again so....seems like he's just checking if he can outmacro toss while upgrading rather than do earlier timing attacks. In this case, the answer was no, lol
air weapon upgrade = 20 nexus -> found SCV -> fake dragoon range upgrade -> SCV dead -> air weapon cancel -> dragoon upgrade
it all makes sense now

Indeed, but I also get the feeling that Flash was testing something this game. When Flash really wants to end you, the game feels different.
how do you know this is flash?
There's a system that's recognizing it through the replay analysis, basically every pro has a unique fingerprint in the way hey set up their controls, resting apm, etc. etc. Also a lot of the top pros have all their alias known, because you only use one battlenet account to create multiple sc lobby accounts
