Rev. Trudy's Friday Message 11-29-2024: Who Is The Good News For?

This Sunday, we start our new Advent Series: Who Is The Good News For? And we start by looking at the story of Mary and Elizabeth. Both women pregnant in some very unusual ways. And they come together, and they celebrate, despite the rumor mill saying Elizabeth is too old and Mary is too young and not married. They celebrate the children yet to be born to them. They know that children, that those children, will bring good news. And they know that they will raise these children with good news. The good news is for them, even as they bring it to us. Isn't that beautiful?
