Corden differentiates his show by offering viewers a peek behind-the-scenes into the green room, bringing all of his guests out at once and lending his musical and acting talents to various sketches. Additionally, bandleader Reggie Watts and the house band provide original, improvised music throughout the show. Since Corden took the reigns as host in March 2015, he has quickly become known for generating buzzworthy viral videos, such as Carpool Karaoke."

American tv standards and practices make it difficult to air most material. The country is too litigious for edgy acts. Most stand ups in the clubs are filthy but if they want to get on TV they have to clean it up a bit.

Many Sri Lankan Tamilians as Romesh clearly is, have family in India and support many political parties in Tamil Nadu... You would only have a point if he were Sinhalese which is ethnic Sri Lankans but even they have deep roots to Indian buddhism which is Theravada buddhism and south indian culture thats why much of their cuisine matches food from Kerala and Tamil Nadu... Romesh is hilarious, too bad he hasn't gotten proper recognition in the US yet but apparently the UK doesn't want that, which is a bit odd. If we were talking about a band I'd be more territorial since fame goes to their head in that craft but comedians tend to stay more-or-less the same no matter how famous they are since their type of humor and personality is what got them famous in the first place

Stop complaining about the lighting it's absolutely fine there's a reason why show is called late late show, airs at 12:30 AM people don't want to burn their eyes.

Correction: He immigrated to US from Britain and has he made it? Watch his Showtime series, which is aptly titled 'Just an Immigrant'.

Proud of what? Do you write his jokes? Are you his agent? If the answer is no then this is kind of creepy! BTW, he was born in the UK.

Better crowd than James Acaster got on the Conan show. Much better primed for a UK comedian. Get James on here and he’d steal the show.
