Hey I know Jaden and Yusei as well! A cypher with the original Duel Monsters characters would be pretty sweet. People like Yugi, Pharoh, Joey, Mai, Kaiba, Marik, Bakura. Hell you could even make a joke one using people like Weevil, Rex, Mako, Bonez, Tristan.

... to my knowledge, only yugi, Yuma and Yusaku lost there partner and power, Yusei technically had no partner just his friends and he still had his mark of the Crimson dragon, Yuya meanwhile had three other versions of himself that used different summoning methods, was a fraction piece of a all powerful duelist which Yuya overcome and surpassed so technically Yuya REGAINED his Power and his other selves BECAME his Partners... XD yuya did the reverse to your comment

I honestly don't get how one can dislike the all the other YGO series, if for no other reason than just how batshit they all get. GX starts out laid back as shit, then all goes insane with Demon King past lives and half the cast dying, 5Ds has dueling on bikes with Doomsday cults trying to take over the world, Zexal has demon aliens and immortal beings along with the MC facing the Devil(literally), and Arc-V is about literal inter dimensional warfare with child soldiers. Like, they're just too fucking insane to not get into.

As someone who has watched all of these series I have to give props to the rappers behind each character I felt each protag was done justice in representation and I got a nice piece of nostalgia along the way also Yugi for the win all the way

I love the original opening feel to the music, I also love how most of the verses used the MC's main monster in the rap and how VGRB was able to use so many hero cards. This was sick

@Strider Xanthos I wouldn't say that. Vrains was pretty boring from start to finish except for like the first and last couple of episodes. The pacing was horrendous and tension was pretty low for half of the series :/. Besides Vrains, Every other series had at least a enjoyable arc whether from the start(5ds and Arc-V) or the end (Zexal & GX). As for sevens, I haven't watched it yet.

But I can see why you don't like it. 5ds is my favorite anime imo but I really like it. But another reason is Konami always messing with the show and not letting the writers finish their story

This was absolutely awesome! Everyone did amazing and my favorite was Freesoul (I'm biased because Yusei my absolute favorite Yu-Gi-Oh protagonist). Also, gotta love how Freesoul, VGRB, and GBJ mixed in the name of their characters cards
Don't get me wrong I think all them are great but 5D's will always be my favourite and Jack is my favourite character I'm always doing his dub voice cos I find it fun to do
Yall did my favorite franchise some justice. The references to famous lines, characters, and cards was perfect. I do believe that real fans would catch all of them with any help. Just one nit pick Yusei lost twice one is a flashback and the other to Kalin/Kiryu. Other than that it was pure fire.

Yuya’s lines could have been a lot more personal. Yuya isn’t the arrogance type. He a guy who loves the game, but was dragged into a war. He’s kinda like Jaden, but altruistic.

So glad Yusaku was included I miss vrains it really brought back the hype that Arc v lost also Yusaku , Jaden, Yami Yugi and still to some extend Yuya are my favourite. Ya Yusei was great too tho zexel and seven nope. It kinda surprising underrated the franchise is when most of it's show were really good okay except Arc V ending and the Entire Sevens show that really felt like the whole Pokemon sun and moon situation all over again

Yall did my favorite franchise some justice. The references to famous lines, characters, and cards was perfect. I do believe that real fans would catch all of them with any help. Just one nit pick Yusei lost twice one is a flashback and the other to Kalin/Kiryu. Other than that it was pure fire.
I absolutely loved this rap cypher as it brought my whole entire childhood and love for this franchise back on. Thank you Gameboy Jones and everyone in this cypher.

Yuya’s lines could have been a lot more personal. Yuya isn’t the arrogance type. He a guy who loves the game, but was dragged into a war. He’s kinda like Jaden, but altruistic.

So glad Yusaku was included I miss vrains it really brought back the hype that Arc v lost also Yusaku , Jaden, Yami Yugi and still to some extend Yuya are my favourite. Ya Yusei was great too tho zexel and seven nope. It kinda surprising underrated the franchise is when most of it's show were really good okay except Arc V ending and the Entire Sevens show that really felt like the whole Pokemon sun and moon situation all over again
