Slow Jigging for BIG fish at Whangaparāoa, Auckland (EPIC day Fishing)

Hello and welcome to Basic Fishing from New Zealand. In this video, I was out on the kayak for the 1st time in ages. I recently got myself a brand new kayak motor(Bixpy J-2 PowerShroud Electric Kayak Motor) since my pedal drive was still yet to be fixed (I was so over the wait at this point) which gave me an opportunity to finally try out kayak fishing since my last trip when my pedal drive broke on me. Location was at Auckland, Whangaparāoa, Hibiscus Coast. I had lot of new stuff on the kayak including a new fish finder (Garmin ECHOMAP CHIRP 45cv) and was excited. This trip proved to be epic as I ended up catching some big snappers on the kayak as well as some good numbers of gurnard as well. In fact within only 3hours of fishing, I had more than enough and called it an early finish. Really hope that my pedal drive gets repaired very soon as I cannot rely on the motor alone and I really want to do some pedalling. But hope to get into some more epic action on my next fishing trip.
