FYI for those looking I have a 36" waist. With the water full there is almost zero room in the front zip down pocket. In the main compartment I can only fit stuff on top of that bladder it takes up SO much room. Love the pack though.
I hear ya! I will only fill the bladder up to 1l max and then use bottles if I need more water because it feels like I have a watermelon hanging off my back when the bladder is at 1.5l. That way I can also put some carbs and electrolytes into the bottle and not the bladder. 👍 Thanks for the info/comment! Rock on!
Awesome review dude, i just ordered 2 myself from ECOC directly as they have these on sale for the ones without the bladder. Pumped to put mine through the ringer out in the field
Thanks for the great detailed video. With a 30" waist I'll probably have to try and rely to Amazon free return policy. Tough I usually like to wear those packs way down the hip not on the waist. Do you think that's uncomfortable on the bike?
Cool! Let me know if it fits you at 30". The pack is very comfortable while riding as long as you don't have the bladder maxed out full of water. If you do have to max out the bladder (because of a long ride) then the pack stops feeling like you're carrying a melon once you've consumed some of the water. :-) Cheers!
Would this work comfortably for hiking around all day also or does it tend to slip? I work in an environment where I need to do this but wearing a backpack would be somewhat excessive
Let me check.... So, I have an iPhone 14 Pro and it just barely fits, so if the Pixel 7 Pro is much bigger I don't think it would fit. Let me know if you have any other questions.
I just can't believe that you are riding in places where you can come across with a grizzly bear and you are just comfortable with that 😮😮😮 You must have great confidence in your legs to believe that you can outrun a bear!!! No means to disrespect!
Hey Sergio! There aren't any grizzly bears in most of the places we ride. I can only think of a couple rides that we've been on in the last 5 years that had grizzly bears in the area, and we bring bear spray in those cases. It's not something we usually have to think about. Thanks for the comment!
Can someone help me with a question? I don't ride bikes, I just wanna know if its posible to put a hidratation bladder in any funny pack or if it must be in a special hidratation bag like this.
As long as the bladder fits in the fanny I think you'll be good to go. This one I'm reviewing just has the bladder that is specifically for the fanny so it fits.
This does not happen. This might happen with a different strap, but this one is super wide, padded and comfortable. Even very overpacked and heavy I never ever had an issue so far
Great, articulate and detailed review. I like this pack. Hopefully I won't be too "skinny" for it.
Haha! Thanks! It’s still my favorite hip pack, and have recommended to several friends who also love it. I appreciate the comment.

@@TheVantasticLifeI am super excited to use it daily and I think it will fit my 80% needs even off the bike

@@ivrabec985 It fits :)
@@bikeinmotion thanks! I think I will order it👍
@@bikeinmotion thanks for the follow up comment, i'm about a 30" as well and was worried it might not fit

I have worn it for hiking several times and it works great for hiking. I just wore it hiking the other day.
great review and thank you regarding sizing for smaller people!!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the comment!
Will the side pockets fit a modern largish phone, like Pixel 7 Pro?

@@TheVantasticLife Thank you!
Ifs it heavy it will crush your stomach and you will be in pain back packs are better
Yeah, I definitely use my backpack if I need more than 1.5 liters of water. My USWE backpack is rad!

Lol “quite fat”
