  • The header for this video pretty much says it all. This is Will Reilly debating Jared Taylor on the campus of Kentucky State University. Dr. Reilly - unsurprisingly one of the guys behind this channel - is a tenure-track HBCU Professor (K-State) with a PhD (Southern Illinois) and a law degree (University of Illinois). This is the full video and audio of his debate with Jared Taylor, the Yale-educated founder and head of the American Renaissance Foundation.

      Agreed! But it’s also an egregious display of the thinly-veiled truth of what so many folks ultimately desire with regards to the mere existence of the sole progenitors of the First World. They want our complete eradication so that, along with us, all their feelings of envy, inferiority and humiliation may likewise cease to exist.
      That is an especially SCARY revelation when you honestly acknowledge that we’re the only ones about whom the desire for that outcome could possibly be expressed openly, unapologetically and with zero consequences. And in the FIRST WORLD no less! Yet it’s completely on trend with their whole “banish it if it makes you feel somehow less than”!

    • @petercaulfield5065
      @petercaulfield5065 7 месяцев назад +2

      Agreed. But you have to admit that this was exemplary of how people always ultimately tell on themselves. First Worlders are the only ones for whom it's accepted to openly call for our erasure. After all, when we go, along with us dies all the feelings of envy, resentment, inferiority and utter humiliation our mere existence inadvertently causes the over-fed and ungrateful recipients of our pathologically altruistic "feeding hands".

      Icarus Diversity only worked for the US and the West because they are rich and white race is the only race stupid enough to put up with this nonsense racism against whites in the name of white guilt, multiculturalism, egalitarianism and political correctness. Whites are giving up their sovereign rights every day by allowing immigration and discrimination laws against them such as affirmative action and the welfare.
      All the research shows that diversity brings distrust and eventually leads to violence and destruction of cultures. Biologically we always seek out those who are similar. History is filled with empirical evidence of diversity failures. India and Pakistan? China and Nepal? Turkey and Armenia? I used to work for a company that employed both Indian and Pakistani and they would not even talk to each other. Ask them if diversity is a good thing, while they come to the US and support diversity! How hypocritical!
      Whites will no longer be a majority in the US very soon and sit back and watch what will happen to the US. The overwhelming majority of the young population will be non-white and older population will be white. You know how young minorities in the US are repeatedly indoctrinated by media and their culture to hate white people and blame them for all of their failures? I suspect that persecution of whites in South Africa may be a good indicator of the what will be happening to whites in the USA's future. And good luck getting your social security check.
      You guys need to stand up for your rights. Democracy is a majority rule. If you lose your majority, tides will turn and the USA will become a different country, probably more like Mexico and Brazil with a mix of radical Islamist ideas. This would not affect rich politicians and CEOs on both sides, but it will only affect common American folks. Frankly, I think you have already gone past point of no return and all you can do is the slow process down. Donald Trump was a really fresh character in politics who understood this needs to happen. I don’t think he is thinking in terms of race, but he is definitely thinking in terms of America's sovereign rights to protect its border.
      Just remember, no superpower stayed in power forever in the history of mankind. Cultural Marxism is your greatest threat.

    Just watching this video I noticed a major undeniable contrast between Mr. Taylor and Mr. Reilly:
    Mr. Taylor provides exhaustive statistics after statistics, facts after facts, with very little flowery language to bedazzle his audience.
    Mr. Reilly, however, though he uses some facts (albeit out of context several times), generally stresses feelings ("Diversity is just more fun!") Excuse me? "more fun"? How exactly do you quantify that? Purely subjective. Even more disappointing: when refuting his opponent, Mr. Reilly simply makes statements like "Mr. Taylor is just wrong...... I won't bore you with the details..... he's just wrong."

    32:20 Bosnia is not a "mono-racial" society, but a state characterized by ethnic cleavages (ie. diversity) that led to a genocidal war. Reilly vindicated Taylor's point within ten seconds of me skipping to his opening. It's astonishing that someone like that holds a PhD or professorship. Anyway, brilliant work as always, Mr. Taylor.

    • @wilfredreilly8261
      @wilfredreilly8261  8 лет назад +13

      +SunTzu1md - Apparently, you somehow ignored one of my three major points: that RACIAL diversity tends to produce what in quantitative political science is known as pragmatic group consolidation or "Linked Fate" (Dawson 1994; Horowitz 2000; Simein 2005) and thus greatly reduce sub-racial ETHNIC conflict. Thus, almost all of the most violent societies - read down the list: Somalia, Iraq, Syria, Venezuela, Sudan, Chechnya, Bosnia, etc - contain only one bio-genetic race but substantial tribal fracturing within that race. This is a direct counter to Mr. Taylor's claim that "whiteness" has long been a single identity and that all white groups - Jews and Gentiles, Greeks and Turks, Italians and Irishmen - would live in peace if restored to traditional levels of in-group identification and returned to an all white environment.

    • @johngrey1074
      @johngrey1074 8 лет назад +161

      +Wilfred Reilly First off, you're attacking a strawman. When did Jared say that "all white groups would live in peace" in the absence of racial diversity? Jared made it remarkably clear that there are fault lines BESIDES RACE: religion, language, tradition, etc. Reducing racial diversity would reduce conflict, but it would not eliminate conflict altogether -- and no one claims that it would!
      Whether or not there is conflict WITHIN races is largely irrelevant. No one is questioning the fact that Shias and Sunnis are killing each other almost entirely over religious differences. That's irrelevant to the discussion. The relevant question is, would more RACIAL diversity make their societies worse off or better off? Based on the evidence (some of which Jared was able to present in the debate), it's clear that more racial diversity would serve to worsen the overall condition of any civilization.

    • @wilfredreilly8261
      @wilfredreilly8261  8 лет назад +10

      +George Foreman - your argument here is coherent: that increased racial diversity, with all other variables adjusted for, increases conflict. The problem, in quantitative terms, is that that's not really true. The nations with the most diversity of actual mature races and religions - the USA, Canada, China in religious terms - tend to be relatively peaceful world powers. There is a slight but real correlation between mature diversity and peace. The religious diversity map, which links to the racial diversity map at the bottom, is right here: www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/06/countries-religious-diversity_n_5093551.html. Notice that the States, Europe, the well-off LatinAm north, and so on all light up as bright green for "very diverse."
      In contrast, the most violent nations on Earth are all mono-racial and mono-religious, with fighting primarily along TRIBAL lines. This tends to be smaller scale, more brutal, and harder to control. This is the ETHNIC diversity map: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2326136/Worlds-apart-Uganda-tops-list-ethnically-diverse-countries-Earth-South-Korea-comes-bottom.html. Here, notice Africa, Eastern Europe, and the like light up as "very diverse" despite being almost totally mono-racial.
      Quite often if not always, racial diversity like the USA's seems to lead to the consolidation of smaller groups into larger groups that fight less. I might not argue that this effect is universal. However, humans seem able to fight over virtually anything - Taylor, myself, and two questioners all cited SPORTS related fatalities running into the dozens. The data indicate that racial diversity - while bringing the cultural and genetic benefits I mention - certainly does not increase violence beyond the level caused by unavoidable tribal diversity. Obviously, there's a common sense element here. I personally would not admit thousands of immigrants to the USA who were recently soldiers for countries fighting the USA (!!!), or who are of good genetic "stock" but totally illiterate for cultural reasons. But, there is no statistical reason, at all, to assume that Nigerian or Japanese immigrants would clash with native whites more than Serbian immigrants.

      Wilfred Reilly It’s a wild claim to say that countries with high racial diversity are peaceful and prosperous BECAUSE they are diverse. I’d say they’re those things are IN SPITE of diversity. The West was all those things before diversity. It’s true we’ve become more peaceful since then, but the decrease was already happening back then and there’s no evidence that diversity made it peaceful.

    Im 34 minutes into this debate I can already see the contrast between these two men. Their approaches are very different. Jared seemed to be completely respectful and charitable, while Reilly came of as super condescending. Reilly also seems to pander to the audience quite a bit since he knows they will be on his side, and Jared mostly just sticks to the facts and the points being made without making too many emotional appeals.
    A lot of the data and examples that Reilly presented are almost irrelevant. All of the violent countries that happen to be homogenous that he listed, are all 3rd world countries. With that, I can name many 1st world countries that are almost ethnostates where crime is almost non-existent. Japan, Poland, South Korea, Iceland, Finland, and Norway. There are a lot of factors that play into this, but these countries' homogeny definitely plays a big role in it. My point is, in this context, we can't really compare 3rd world countries to 1st world countries. And we can talk about why those 3rd world countries are the way they are, but that's a different discussion.
    Reilly also tries to write Jared off as a bigot, classic tactic. Make your opponent seem like a bad person so no one takes their argument seriously. Jared never said that the problems with the black community are purely genetic. This isn't an absolutist argument, of course the environment plays it's own role. But so does genetics. We can't ignore either of them. Reilly ignores genetics, Jared acknowledges both. And Reilly said that these issues are cultural and not racial. Jared never said that culture didn't play a role, in fact Reilly lays out half our argument for us when he said that. Culture is a huge factor, but race is often times tied into the culture.
    Reilly also has super childish reasons for supporting diversity. Mixed women, really? I know it was meant as sort of a joke, but this is a serious conversation. Not to mention all of the other inconsequential things like food, music, and being better at sports. Yeah those things are cool, but there are bigger problems that need to be addressed, and sacrifices need to be made. To anyone who is treating this topic seriously, those reasons should not convince them to support diversity. These inconsequential reasons should be a sign that he was running out of reasons and arguments.
    And these differences Jared talks about aren't purely racial, they have to do with ethnicity as well. Ethnicity deals with a group with a common national and cultural identity. American whites are different from European whites, French whites are different from German whites, and Slavs are different from Anglos. But Reilly strawmanned this too. So no, there isn't just one white identity, there are a lot of white identities. We aren't advocating for all white people to be in one place, we want America to be America, Germany to be Germany, and France to be France.
    Reilly's inbreeding argument is probably the worst argument he made. It's laughable. Each race has gotten to the point where inbreeding wouldn't occur in a mono-racial society. Japan is 99% Japanese, and they don't have an inbreeding problem. People will not be that close to each other genetically for it to be called inbreeding. There are no examples of an ethnostate having to resort to inbreeding. Such a stupid and baseless argument.
    Reilly was also hardly arguing for diversity. He says he like diversity, but then says it's a good thing that all races will eventually merge into one, and become HOMOGENOUS. And thus conceding that diversity really isn't a strength. He wants homogeny, but in a possibly worse way than we do. We want every race to survive and thrive. If we all became one, all of that culture would be gone.
    Reilly's fatal flaw in this debate was that he assumed every argument made by Jared is absolutist. When none of them are, there are some exceptions to everything. Nothing is one dimensional like that. And he just tries to paint Jared as a bigot, and makes assumptions about Jared's reasons and intentions. Which is frankly disgusting, especially for a man like Jared. Jared was way too charitable to this man.

    32:06 The Roman Empire was not multicultural- when the Romans conquered new lands they made their new subjects adopt Roman customs. Romans, however, would adopt many of the local customs they liked. In this sense the goal of Rome was to homogenize the Empire- watering it down (culturally and ethnically) in the process. This was especially dangerous when absorbing slaves and weaker subjects- many of whom were slaves and losers for a reason (ie weaker willed, less skilled, etc were all contributing factors). No doubt this ancient "multiculturalism" of sorts contributed to Rome's decline.

    • @wilfredreilly8261
      @wilfredreilly8261  8 лет назад +11

      +Zach Morley - I am arguing only for RACIAL diversity. Probably the key distinction between myself and Mr. Taylor is that he sees race as some sort of unique divider between people(s). In contrast, as a political scientist researching war and strategy, I can't help noticing that ALL of the most violent nations in the world appear to be mono-racial societies. If you use the sorting metric "recently involved in a major war (+) homicide rate significantly over the global average," the nations you get are: Chechnya, Ukraine, Rwanda, Bosnia, Somalia, Russia, Sudan, South Sudan, Iraq, Liberia, Afghanistan, Syria, and Kosovo. All of those nations are made up of multiple warring TRIBES, but they have essentially no racial diversity. Multi-racial societies - Canada, the USA, Hong Kong, Brazil, etc - aren't perfect. But racial diversity often correlates with decreased conflict, as tribal and clan groups come together to compete at the racial or national level.
      In contrast to racial diversity, I oppose multi-culturalism. This is a key point: I am not a multi-culturalist. I define multi-culturalism in the standard conservative sense used by D'Souza (1995, 2000): the belief that all cultures are equal, and no dominant national identity can be super-imposed over sub-national racial and ethnic identities. That's exactly what you're referring to in late Imperial Rome, with her self-governing provinces and eventually the division of the Imperium. That's a crazy idea. Unlike Mr. Taylor, I do favor immigrants to the USA being selected on the basis of IQ and eagerness rather than race, and bringing their genetic potential and fine curries in with them. But, an over-arching national identity is in fact necessary to manage that sort of diversity and encourage miscengenation. The Romans fell NOT because they conquered Blacks and Gauls, who became pillars of the Empire. They fell because they abandoned the shared idea of "Roman Citizen," and split between East and West.

      Wilfred Reilly Thanks for clearing that up.
      I am not satisfied having a country where everyone simply puts up with each other. I want a country of kinship- authentic and rich unity. There are many races in America who on the whole meet our IQ/productivity standards, however they do not fit in. Most Chinese-Americans and Jewish Americans I have met see themselves as Chinese/Jewish first and American second. Some, who identify with neither identity, find themselves as atomized individualists.
      Whether we're discussing inter-group violence, tribalism, inter-group apathy, or atomized individualism -- no society can survive.
      members of a nation need deeply rooted commonalities with one another (race, religion, culture, tradition, etc.) for a society to truly flourish.

      Wilfred Reilly whoa now back up a bit. I have been a student of Roman society since I was a child and they have always fascinated me but I think you don’t quite understand what you’re suggesting. The Imperium, sure but what you’re not accounting for is the fall of the Republic. Let me explain because I would really like to hear your response in the correlation between Republican Rome and the the current United States.
      First off, before I begin we need to make something clear. There is a massive difference between the Republic and the Imperium. If we are comparing that to the modern United States, we are in the period of Republican Rome, not the Imperium and that matters because how each version of Rome dealt with the multiple races and cultures was very different.
      First off, Republican Rome was incredibly homogeneous. It’s original people were standoffish with the Socii. The entire client state system was based off of its desire to remain separate from the people they were in hegemony over. You keep your culture, we keep ours. You come when we call. The fall of the Republic and the rise of the Imperium was completely based on the Popularii and their constant pushing for citizenship for the Socii which was a losing argument. Even the lowest and poorest of the Roman citizens did not want Samnites and Etrurians having Roman citizenship. While the Romans used the Socii and the Socii absolutely wanted Roman citizenship, the Romans themselves were all about segregation tribally. As much as the Italian Allies wanted to be citizens, and as much as the Popularii such as the Grachus brothers pushed for it, they were not given citizenship until after the Marian Reforms and even then it was not taken well. From the moment the Grachii started using the Tribune office to push a multiracial society on the Roman public, the culture began changing until it finally started several Civil Wars and ended with Caesar and Octavian destroying the Republic and creating the Imperium. You get what I’m saying? The Roman virtues that Cato and Cicero talked about were utterly destroyed. The Republic and all of its virtues were destroyed. The Imperium maintained it’s multiracialism with Pax Romana. You might remember Tacitus talking about that. “They create a wasteland and call it ‘peace’.”
      My point is that the Imperium was murderous in its nature. If your city was disorderly, they’d come and burn it down and kill everyone to maintain the peace. It was multi racial in that they allowed your race to continue existing, albeit with their boot on the Mediterranean world’s neck. Now, apply that to the United States.
      The US is currently a Republic. Over only the last 50 years or so has it become multiracial. The virtues that it had which allowed it to grow from a regional power to the single most powerful nation on Earth is dying due to multiracialism. The World War 2 generation would absolutely without a doubt be appalled. Now here’s some statistics to make my point.
      80% of minorities do not believe in the Second Amendment. They do not believe in absolute freeness of speech, while whites still overwhelmingly do. These are two basic values that puts power in the people’s hands. The modern day Popularii, the Democrats, pander to crowds of minorities because there is no way they’re seizing power while pushing the values they have over white Americans. Minorities want to be Americans but they neither understand its values nor do they want its values. They want the benefits while not assimilating. Which destroys the benefits too.
      We are careening straight into an Imperium. One of two things will happen.
      1) The Popularii win again. Nothing happens and we slowly degenerate from the white values we started with. That will likely lead to an Imperium of a sort.
      2) A Civil War starts and the Conservatives win. The Republic gets a restart.
      Either way, it’s unlikely things will resolve peacefully. The worst way things can go is the multiracial way, if we are studying how things went with Rome.

    My god, mr.Willfred Reilly missed the point using Bosnia as an example the way he did it.... The problem in ex Yugoslavia WAS forced diversity and suppression of differences among the different nations (Slovenians, Croatians, Serbs, Bosniacs, Albanians, Macedonians and Montenegrins) and, basically, three different cultures (and three religions too, if you will) with different backgrounds in such an extent as if it is a race differences (almost). Western nations (Croats andSlovenians) were under Austro-Hungarian rule (Croatian kingdom was in personal union with Hungarians, had its own parilament and ban (viceroy) all the time. Parts of Slovenia and Croatia were also under Venetian/Italian rule, so those cultures were part of them. The eastern nations, Serbs, Macedonians and, most of the time, people of bosnia that became nowadays Bosniacs and Albanians were under Turkish rule for centuries so it formed their way of thinking and behaviour. We, Croats and Slovenians, were swindled to submit to Serbian rule after the 1st W.W. and all the resistance was crushed by sheer force and in blood. The terror of Karađorđević's (Serbian dinasty) was harsh and nobody liked such a domination of one nation over others, so there was a backlash... It was a barrel of gunpowder just waiting for a spark to come because the most of people weren't satisfied with their position in that union, not even Serbs... So Croats and Slovenes were very much interested in forming their independent countries, and all other nations followed their lead and all of them formed their national states. This guy hasn't got the faintest idea about the situation here. Mr. Jared Taylor, on the other hand, knows what he is talking about without throwing arbitrary estimations... And he is using statistical evidence to support his claims, while his opponent tries to throw mud in our eyes trying to make hard statistical evidence unimportant which is not very intelligent thing to do...
    And calling us tribes is a very racist way to address us.

    • @wilfredreilly8261
      @wilfredreilly8261  8 лет назад

      @Peregrine: without being glib, thanks for again making my best point for me. Jared Taylor's whole argument, if you read for example "White Identity," is that RACE is a unique divider between people. This is the only reason for his otherwise confusing focus on atypical environments like prisons, during this debate and others. He appears to believe that an America containing Germans, Italians, Jews, Greeks, Hungarians, Serbs, Croats, and maybe Turks - and where Caucasians celebrated their identities much as Puerto Ricans and Mexicans do now - would be a peaceful place as long as there weren't Black people in it.
      I think, while still respecting the man, that that's crazy nonsense. Your Bosnia story perfectly illustrates why. Yugoslavia was obviously 99.9% white, during the time of the wars of separation. The problem was that the country was literally Balkanized into dozens of different tribal factions - that's just the scientific terminology - on the basis of religion and language. You list most of these: Serbs, Croats, Bosniaks, Slovenes, Kosovar Albanians, and so on. The end result, in a totally mono-racial country, was a war of all against all that killed something like two million people.
      That's not unusual. I do do serious scientific research, and in terms of homicide rate and tendency toward civil war, there is no
      statistically significant difference between multi-RACIAL countries and
      one-race states. The most racially diverse countries are places like New Zealand, Costa Rica, Canada, Bermuda, and Belgium. Multi-racial states are slightly more violent, but also slightly happier, taken on average - they certainly aren't hellholes.
      In contrast, the sort of diversity that is dangerous is TRIBAL diversity, where sub-national linguistic or ethnic groups of the same race share a nation state. Tribal diversity like that in Bosnia IS a significant predictor of civil war; it roughly triples the odds of a "war between brothers" happening during any given decade. This, rather than race, was the problem in the former Yugoslavia, Sudan, Rwanda, and for that matter Nazi Germany. Racial diversity, if you read the Linked Fate or Pragmatic Group Consolidation literature in my discipline, in fact can help to resolve this problem - as small
      tribes consolidate into larger groups like races ("white") for the
      purpose of competition. Overall, the Canadas and Bermudas of the world are far more peaceful than the Lithuanias and Tanzanias - and that was my point against Taylor.

    • @PeregrineFalconZG
      @PeregrineFalconZG 7 лет назад +17

      You cannot be more wrong... The problem were not in "tribes" and "tribalizm" (thank you for your racist remarks on behalf of Croats, Slovenes, Macedonians, Bosniacs, Albanians, Italians, Hungarians and others, even Serbs, who suffered because of Serbian imperialistic and nazistic goals ) , but in economically inefficient and unsuccesful country and unsuccesful (communist) system that could exist as such only during the cold war when the West used to support Yugoslavia financially donating huge ammounts of money just to keep it from openly joining Soviet Union... That country was bankrupt several times in my life and the last one was fatal, in the 80's... It was a federation of republics who had the right of secession according to Constitution.. The two most developed republics were Slovenia and Croatia and Miloshevich wanted to centralize the country when it failed to take the money from Slovenia and Croatia (very simplified way of saying it) instead of making reforms) in federal fund. Since Yugoslav army was in his hands and Serbs (close to 9 millions of them) outnumbered Croats (some 4,5 millions of them) he thought it would be piece of cake, especially when he took the weapons from Croatian Territorial Defense leaving us unarmed... Croatia and Slovenia also wanted to break up with the undemocratic one-party communist system, and MIloshevich wanted to keep the system as it was... So, the reasons were primarily economical, then political (one-party system against multiparty democracy)... With our "tribes", as you kindly called them as a good racist would do, fought also other "tribes" against Serbs... My brothers in arms were Hungarians, Slovaks, Ukrainians, Czechs, Italians, Macedonians, Germans, and, also Serbs (one of them from Serbia proper), and all of them are political Croats, which means the same as being political American (member of the political nation) although they are not Croats by nationality... You know, the citizen of France is a political Frenchman even when he is Russian by nation just like it is in every modern nation, so the same goes for Croatia...

      No dude. You aren't getting Reilly's point. Croats and Serbs are the same race, correct? Never mind culture, religion, etc. That's exactly the point Reilly makes.
      However, he is right about the fact that this is THE ONLY semi-successfull point he made. Because, eventually, JT crushes that issue with "I never said that the race is the only reason for tribalism". Whatever the case, JT destroys him. No matter how hard he tries to make it seem otherwise.

    • @LittleHatori
      @LittleHatori 5 лет назад

      @Jamie R Deem
      Ur statistics are important. But not for this argument.
      I'm talking about judging an individual fairly. This two minute question may not prove this young man is a scholar in ur book- but completely dismissing his citizenship? His worth? Value?
      The argument is,
      U called him not worthy of living life in America. When, u don't know his deeds, his GPA, his upbringing, his specific stregnths and weaknesses. u two r complete. Strangers. So what r u judging him on? statistics. Which can be helpful. But they are not gospel.
      Stereotypes are not Gospel either.
      Stereotypes are usually negative and exaggerated. Like asians are bad drivers. That stereotype comes from the evidences that asians are usually far sighted. They're vision is not as good close up as Europeans. But the bad drivers thing is a myth (as far as i know.)
      U don't even know if that statistic for 60% of the crime is accurate for where they are. (because statistic are not accurate everywhere. 60% of the crime in Alaska is not done by blacks. The national statistic is a picture is as a nation. Crime rates can b lower or higher in different cities & states. And huge outlets of crime and black population of low educated and immoral men like in Baltimore,chicago,etc r going to spike the data. While quieter towns in states like Alaska will dull it down. )
      What I'm saying is, your going to loose out on good opportunities to actually enjoy the benefits of diversity- because there is benefits tthat can be enjoyed( u may not think the benefits r worth it.) if you do not judge individuals holistically and as individuals.
      U should understand this by how Ford was able to destroy a man's reputation by uttering "victim" in a crowded room and pointing fingers. What made more sense?:
      1. To judge kavanaugh by the entirety of his life. Decisions actions and all.
      2. To judge kavanaugh by what he said only at the hearings. And for only 2 minutes in one particular segment.
      It makes more sense to withhold harsher judgements (like he is a rapist or he isn't worthy to be in our country)
      When u know the entire person. Because otherwise u sound... And i know u probably don't care- but I'm trying to help U- u sound racist.
      And on a more real note-
      Certainly, you may feel worthy to live in America.
      But all your good deeds and sense of achievement are filthy rags in the sight of Almighty God. Everyone on their best day, is a lowly deprived sinner.
      U are not better then him. And i am not better then u. And vice versa X infinity.
      Which is why this argument to get rid of blacks based on merit is sorta misleading. Because you'd have to assume white people are better then blacks & have better merits. And in christianity that simply isn't true.
      White people are the reasons for their failures just as black people are.
      And collectively the nation is failing because of immorality and sin, & not repenting. not because of a certain ppl group.

    How can anyone say race diversity is a strength, then celebrate the idea of there only being one race as a result of all the races mixing? If he can imagine the Country being a better place because everyone was one mixed race, doesn't that support the argument that a homogenized Country is better then a diverse Country? That very thought won the debate for Taylor because his entire point was just that. The difference was that Taylor was not promoting the idea of all races being destroyed to create one homogenized race.

      Well, I also pointed out that the thirty or so most violent countries are all uni-racial. This is probably the key point against Mr. Taylor, who argues - insanely, to me as a Political Scientist - that race is sort of the key human divider in terms of violence within societies. In fact, racial diversity in societies with any sort of functional assimilation plan causes no statistically significant increase in violence. The most RACIALLY diverse nations on Earth are Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Costa Rica, Fiji, France, Malaysia, and New Zealand. The USA's right up there. There are some violent outliers further down on the list (Venezuela), but most of these places are hardly war zones. What causes violence is "castle keep" TRIBAL and linguistic diversity, which is usually found in fairly primitive states that haven't yet entered global markets and achieved mature racial and class diversity. Taylor may think that a USA full of passionate 1920s-style Italians, Irishmen, Germans, Greeks, and Russian Jews would be a peaceful utopia until Blacks arrived. I disagree.

      I don't believe he sad that, but rather that more a like people will have create lesser problems... and this is fact, just look at crime rates. Look Sweden crime rate before intake of people from Arabic and African background and current one?! I actually worked in most of the countries you listed and I bet you, this countries are far removed from coherent but rather suspicious indeed... yours example proved Jarad's point perfectly. Fiji - military upraising against Indians (from India). NZ struggles with compensation after compensation for taking "advantage" of Maori, treating Maori with special concessions (privileged), I could list more but hope that when one claims this countries as good example I would actually spend some time getting to know them. I would claim Singapore is one of this countries that multiculturalism had worked, but is very very strict country.

    • @wilfredreilly8261
      @wilfredreilly8261  8 лет назад +3

      @Piotr - you have worked in "most of" Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Costa, Fiji, France, Malaysia, NZ, the USA, and Venezuela? I envy you, my man. But, on to points - my argument here is quite simple. In terms of homicide rate and tendency toward civil war, there is no statistically significant difference between multi-RACIAL countries and mono-racial states. Multi-racial states are slightly more violent, but also slightly happier. This finding, and the entire idea of diversity as a (non-) predictor of war, is actually the subject of my next academic paper, which I plan to submit to the International Journal of Political Science and Diplomacy. Perhaps I should dedicate it to Mr. Taylor.
      The sort of diversity that is dangerous is TRIBAL diversity, where sub-national linguistic or ethnic groups of the same race share a nation state. Tribal diversity IS a significant predictor of civil war; it roughly triples the odds of a "war between brothers" happening during any given decade. This, rather than race, was the problem in Bosnia, Sudan, Rwanda, and for that matter Nazi Germany. Racial diversity, if you read the Linked Fate or Pragmatic Group Consolidation literature in my discipline, in fact can help to resolve this problem - as small tribes consolidate into larger groups like races ("white") for the purpose of competition. You had one excellent point about Fiji. But, overall, the Canadas and Bermudas of the world are far more peaceful than the Lithuanias and Tanzanias - and that was my point against Taylor.

      Jared Taylor is obviously not praising other mostly uni-racial cultures. He's praising Western culture, a culture undoubtedly made by white Europeans, which ironically, by virtue of it's own emphasis on personal freedoms, allowed racial diversity to become prevalent. The US isn't a war zone for a few reasons, some being geographical, others political and military, but I would absolutely not attribute any of those reasons to cultural diversity.
      I really did not hear much substantive input from yourself during the debate (an example being when you brought up a multitude of racially diverse students, as if Jared Taylor either didn't know they existed or hadn't realize that they proved the greatness of cultural diversity). I believe a longer sit-down interview between yourself and Jared Taylor, without a live audience, will show that your current positions are based on a shallow concepts that don't withstand much empirical prodding. I'd be very interested in that conversation.
      With all that said, I thank you for making this discussion available on the internet, and for actually engaging in further conversations and clarifications with viewers. Diversity is positive when ALL RACES are TREATED EQUAL UNDER our Constitutional Law! My heritage is Irish, German, Cherokee Indian, as w/many "whites" in southern/eastern Ky...
    Honestly "whites" are just over talkin' about race CONSTANTLY! Why can't content of character matter anymore?!?
    Our American history SHOULD have taught us to view identity (politics) as Booker T wrote in his autobiography, and NOT Dubois... Dubois was obsessed w/race! Ironically he was also born into a "middle- class" free-black family that owed land, and worked that land as well...He NEVER lived as a slave. He was a talkin' not a doer...
    Booker T was born in the south as slave, but achieved freedom after the civil war. He valued very hard work ethics, he wasn't obsessed w/race and/or oppression. He was obsessed w/SELF-educating, PERSONAL responsibility, living in peace w/whites... Resulting in establishing a relationship w/President Lincoln, thus Booker T received funding to help him build many schools in the south...
    Unfortunately, TODAY the majority of minority (and white) college/university professors teach the Dubois mentality to young people, opposed to Booker T's... Which in my personal opinion is an INJUSTICE to our present-day college/university students...

    Mr. Jared Taylor speaks Japanese fluently while Mr. Reilly's Spanish is substandard, some of these American collage student can hardly speak English.

      He was obviously hoping to get cheers for using the language itself and that nobody would understand what he was actually saying. "I love tacos", how utterly embarrassing.

    Ahh, okay so you can't learn Spanish/Portuguese without completely replacing the demographics of Europeans that built the country. And no, Blacks did not create or build America anymore than a nail built a shed.
    That language you spoke at the end was a European one by the way, Mr. Reilly. The United States as it was intended and designed can not exist without the European ethnicities that define it's existence. It was created by the Founding Fathers as a white ethno-state. ('Whites' = European)
    Reily's argument that diversity does not cause conflict is to name that diversity causes other conflicts via religion, ethnicity and culture instead of just race.
    You, and all progressives are in a battle with human nature and observed reality.

      Spanish and Portuguese are Europen western languages. The Spanish Empire and Portuguese where doing colonies and settler colonialism before the Brtish Empire England did.

      The Founders of the United States hated other white people. Ben Franklin was Xenophobic towards Germans. And Germans are white people from western Europe. Do you seriously think English settler colonizers. Wanted Polish Russians Swedish Czechs Hungarians. Slovenia to live in a English settler colony. Franklin didnt want Germans. Comming in large numbers.

    Jared won this argument hands down in my opinion! I went to prom with a black girl, some of my best friends are black, but this dude has a point, even if it makes you feel gross. Humans of all types can be really fucked up, and horrible to each other . Race has no monopoly on brutality... This is a rough convo, congrats 👏 for having it
