~ This was based on a joe orton play (sceen play by galton & simpson) and really pushed hywel bennett to stardom after appearing in 'the family way 1966' & the virgin soldiers '69 & later 'percy' 1971....its a story of two friend who rob a bank then have trouble hiding the money (loot) and so hide it in a coffin where all manner of colourful charactors come into the picture making it all great fun and a left over of the 'swinging sixties'that was still hanging on till the '70's! lee remick looks gorgeous too! keith mansfield provides the music soundtrack with vocals here by steve ellis ex love affair...bennett would later marry 'ready steady go's' cathy mcgowen!
