One of the games that made me feel like I was in an anime I was looking all over for this game and FINALLY found it. My days been made I also didn’t watch the anime as a kid so this just reminded me to go find it and watch it
Damn. I wasnt even sure if this game was real or a dream i made up. You've jogged some memories. Considering I could neither read (in general, this was pre 1st grade) nor speak english at the time, i had absolutely no clue what was going on. Pretty sure it took me at least 2 hours to realise "oh this is a race game and these are robotic suits and not bugs". FSR i didnt even know who my teammates were so friendly fire was frequent.
Holy crap it took years for me to rediscover this. Every now and then I'd think "what was that mech racing anime from Toonami? I remember playing a flash game that was pretty cool". Finally found it lol, thanks. Only saw a couple episodes and wasn't really paying attention, but it always seemed cool.
This game was an OG in my childhood (even though I watched only the first episode of the actual show). Here's a few neat tricks I came up with for easy wins: - I often filled up my powerup bar during the first fight of each race, and when it's full, I saved it until I faced a fight with just me against any rival mechs, then I use my powerup on them to quickly defeat them and head to the next cutscene. - To help guarantee crossing the Finish Line first during the actual "Fight to the Finish", if my powerup bar is full, I use it on the rival mechs, particularly the lead mech, once the Finish Line is "right ahead". By the time the rival mechs return to the track (assuming they still have some lives left), it would be too late as I win the race.
Indeed. I didn't even watch the actual show back then. As you can see, this is one of those games I'm not too familiar with, otherwise I would have used or thought of those tricks you've mentioned here.
@@lulcam2996 You make it sound like this is something I managed to dig up from the depths of the internet....I simply played this in Flashpoint and recorded it (video description)....
@@henrythepotatohead Hey it's all good, not even worried about that just watching you upload games that we grew up with is all I wanna see. Thanks Henry 💪🏾😎

I can remember there was a Toonami flash game that was similar to WipEout.

I’m surprised you haven’t done Toonami Arena yet
Not yet, soon....
@@henrythepotatohead Will be looking forward to that, thanks good friend ✊🏾
Done, but I think you'll be disappointed with my pathetic level of gameplay since I tend to stink at football-like games...
