Mahatria may worship some god. But for an agnostic like me who has shunned most of religion as the end of it is just faith or belief, he IS the god that many look for - his life and his experience being our direction.

Ur God on the earth
Even after reading books continuously till his last day, socretes life was ended by drinking poison. Then what is the use of continuously improving himself and continuously reading books. Whether his life style and life condition improved? Life itself ended. An idiot can live for 100 years happily without knowing what is improvement. An intelligent person's life can end soon knowing all the improvements. Time decides everything and no one has the ability to over ride time.
