Jamaican black castor oil worked for me. I had a big patch of hair come out from a bad weave. Im talking straight up smooth scalp, i thought i was gonna have that bald spot forever!!! I put castor oil on it twice a day. I felt some stubble within 2 weeks. The spot is full of hair now. That happened to me in April and i would say the hair is about 1/2" in length. It's a slow process for a woman but for a guy i think he may notice a difference within a month or so. Hope that helps. Be careful with rogain, had a coworker pass away because he wasn't aware of the medicine he was taking along with using rogain.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil helps grow hair back, it has a particular smell though, smells roasted. Make sure it's 100% natural though. I used it on my brows and it did help for the hairs to grow back.
