    I love my H Reality game 1 most nights as a speed dom bowler. When it gets lazy and I need to move alil left I was thinkin bout the DNA coil but now may have to wait and just pair the solid w the pearl. As I move into the cliff I need something to clear-slowdown-and move still. Most time I have better luck balling down to a Fate or Hustle RIP and stayin right @ 7-8 at arrows.

    Crazy I have the harsh solid. Haven't seen much from it elsewhere. The optimum idol has been the popular one.

    In my local center, I've been the only person to make the Harsh look good. Everyone else decided to not drill it, or who did haven't found any success with it. Its been a cheat code for me though so I'll definitely be drilling a pearl

    My brother has a Harsh Reality and he loves it so much. He is two handed, but he has an insane amount of tilt and rotation. He usually needs a little help getting the ball to slow down, so the harsh has fit his game perfectly, on almost all conditions too.
    Also, I’m surprised that you haven’t seen many of that ball. During the greater it was immensely popular. I think that was maybe the most common spi ball I saw being used, at least on the fresh. And while the lanes were fresh it did always look really good, but most people were out of it by the end of game 2.

      Yeah I could definitely see it looking good at both houses really, and for 2 handers since it just seems to be an asym TNT.
      I really haven't seen a single one in my area for anything lol.

    IMO, 900G had the best cover naming system. Easy to figure out which cover was stronger than another, wish other companies could make it so simple.

      Yeah . . I get the branding direction and I really like what they chose to do, but the cover naming has definitely taken a step backwards.

      Track did this years ago with their 3,5,7,9 series. You had the T for traction the C for control and the A for angular. The last 2 numbers were the asymmetrical aspect of the ball. So a 915T was their strongest with traction and a 0.015 asymmetry. The 720C was control and 0.020 asymmetry. 505A…. Well you get the point. 900G isn’t a pioneer here with their numerical model, Track was.

      @@robertwar7814 We weren't really discussing who started it, the point was that Global already had a good cover naming system. Track's system of using tech specs to name the ball was good, but a little too far.
      607A was a goat tho . .

      @@robertwar7814 just makes it easy for any new bowler to figure out which strong covers vs weak covers without having to deep diving because a brand came out with AI-Cohesion-HFS cover (which for most doesn't mean anything).

    I got a harsh not drilled and this pearl might be a good buy and do them both up the same. Thanks Luke for covering these balls even after all that bs months ago!!!

    The pearl is something I've looked forward to though

    Will be curious to see how this compares to the Theorem and if it's worth having both in the bag

    • @LukeRosdahl
      @LukeRosdahl  3 месяца назад +1

      I don't think it's going to be that close, I think the Theorem is more of a bigger VEBO, and this one will be more like a stronger Halo Pearl.

    Idk if it's the colors or what, but the harsh pearl looks like the shiniest ball I've ever seen.

    This one looks significantly slower than the Altered. I was hoping for a true replacement.

    • @LukeRosdahl
      @LukeRosdahl  3 месяца назад

      I really don't think this is going to be it, the shapes are different in addition to AI seeming to kind of slow it down, which it does to most balls. I think the Hammer Effect is the closest thing to the Altered that I've seen since.

    • @andysettle4728
      @andysettle4728 3 месяца назад +1

      @LukeRosdahl thanks! Luckily, I just drilled up a fresh Altered a couple of months ago, but I'm always looking for the next one since it is an all-time favorite, and they get harder and harder to find. The Harsh Pearl looks like it might he closer to an Exotic Gem replacement than anything else.
