It'ss great to hear from someone that has some festival experience. You seemed to have covered everything. I look forward to more festival reviews! Keep rockin'🤘
I'm glad I could help! Hope you'll enjoy the fest, will probably be hard to with a line-up like that. If you see some loud dirty Swedes around VIP camp 1, it's likely us :D Cheers!
Hello, can you please tell about the water situation in the vip camp? Are there showers? It is cold water or warm water? Also toilettes in containers or toi toi ones? Thaaanks for the info! \m/
Hey! It's been a while, so I'm sorry if I don't remember correctly. Water and toilets were definitely available, not sure about running water toilets or showers though! Hope to see you there this year, I'm 100% booked :)
Great video! If VIP camping won't be that great this year I would really recommend trying out the hotels that BA offers. I have been working at Brutal Assault as a volunteer for a few years and I think the hotels and transportation to/from the festival works pretty neatly. Anyway, see you in hell :D
Thank you! I think it'll work out, don't think I would ever chose a hotel at a festival since the camping is a big part of the experience for me :) see you there! Will be an epic year :D
Stefan Nordström nice video . One question what is the difference between VIP camping 1 & 2 ? Different areas is it ? Heard VIP camping location is not good as well but then atleast things are safe ! What do you say. Thanks and a good video Also do they need cash for merch at the festival ?
Hello. I liked your video but I have a question, how does camping work? How close is the festival to the next city or town where I can stay? I’m traveling from Mexico and I’m little nervous because I have never been in Europe neither in Czech Republic. Thanks for your answer.
Hi! Glad you like it. There are two different camping options for Brutal Assault: either camp in the woods like some people do (not guarded) or buy a VIP camping ticket (fenced and guarded by entrance guards). I did the VIP camp this year and it worked fine. Both secure and plenty of space for tents. Close to the festival area as well if you choose VIP camp number 1. You can buy camping tickets on the homepage. There are also hotel options through the Brutal Assault homepage, but I've never tried. The closest slightly bigger town is Hradec Kralove, like 30 mins by taxi. I would recommend the VIP camp to get both safety and a nice festival experience. Really easy to make friends in the camping etc :)
So would you happen to know if folks aren't staying in the camping area but at a hotel or Airbnb , is there transportation that's available at the end of the night? First time attending this summer :) 🤘🏼. I know where I live some transportation shuts down and I live in a big city, so I'm not sure if this is the same case with where this festival is located.
Hmm, I believe Brutal Assault is setting that up for the official hotels you book through their homepage. Remember seeing that at least, can't promise. There are plenty of taxi cars circling the festival too, I'd ask on the Facebook page for a definite answer since I've always stayed in the camp. Jaromer is super small by the way, how far away from there are you staying?
Stefan, thanks for the quick reply. My group and I will be staying, from what I've been told, about a 25 minute drive from Jaromer. I think it's Rtyne v. Podkrkonosi 😅. That's why I was curious. But if there are taxis available, that may be the way to go 🤔. Thanks!! Cheers from the Windy City, Angie :)
@@Sbsp54 Hmm I think your best bet is pre-booking a taxi. Should be affordable if you're a full group. There are taxis circling all the time, but might be nice to be sure! Hope you enjoy Brutal, glad first-timers are finding their way to my vlogs :) incidentally, I'm stopping by Chicago in April actually :D
That's really good to know! Thanks for the good tip to pre-book the taxi! :D Really looking forward to B.A. and this lineup (& I came across your vlog because of Instagram, I believe ). Oh that's pretty cool, what are the odds haha. Hope you enjoy Chicago as well! :D if you need tips on the city, drop a line 👍🏼
Sweet that my feeble attempts at online promotion and fame are spreading across the platforms, hahaha! I might ask some questions later, actually. Got my New York part planned out but Chicago is more uncertain :D You'll enjoy the crap out of B.A. I'm sure, perfect combo of lineup and Czech cheapness :)

Glad you got something out of it :) I was going this year as well, but damn covid screwed it up :( Hope to see you there in 2021!
I feel like you made this video for me. Thanks, Stefan
Of course I did! Brutal Assault follow-up vid coming this afternoon too :D See you there hahaha
Being Stolen is my biggest fear more than weather, hope the vip camp will reduce the risk, thank you for your video by the way
Yeah, that's my hope too! Hope you will have a good festival :)
Very useful information! I’m traveling from Scotland so it’ll be a new experience for sure!!

Hey, are you going this year too?
Hey! I was, but now it's postponed with the whole virus situation :(
