When you thanked Natasha for bringing you dinner after sad time and she just responded with “I love you” 😭
Das friendship.
Emma and Natasha will always be my stone angels.
Thank you Dave! 👼🏻⛰
Dirty camera is a mood. Don’t be down, Emma! You’re doing fine and you’ll do fine in the interview!
Dirty camera looks like it has a happy face in the top left corner!!! 😁
Crying is just your body jettisoning excess feels ❤ crying is healthy and necessary for you to function at your best.
Awesome video as always! Love seeing the countryside and your adventures.
I'm watching in Jan 2023. I recently discovered Tokidoki recently through Tokyo Creative, and am now pretty much suggested an Emma or Chris Broad video every time, and I'm watching all of their old stuff. It's so weird watching videos pre-pandemic! But I'll enjoy watching Emma through the years, even if not in consecutive order (come on RUclips suggestions!). But yea, I enjoy watching her personal stuff. So personable, so funny, so good with the editing.
Its ok to just cry it out and I am glad you had a friend like Natasha on the trip with you who just knew you had to let you do you but still being there for you... those are the best type of friends.
お疲れ様でした! I have mad respect for the hours you put in to give us the variety of content you do both for your own channel and TC.
Rain in Japan is beautiful. I don’t know what it is but it makes me feel melancholic.
Aside from all the wonderful food, hotels, experiences, friendships, and just general fun, traveling for work looks like a lot of hard work! You all look like you’re doing your best and I love the results! Thanks for sharing!
Love the friendship between you and Natasha. Love the both of you.❤😊
Sometimes you just need a good cry 🤷 Remember that you're a badass, Emma! ❤️
I totally understand the freaking out over things even when you know there’s really no reason to freak out but your brain has other ideas! Silly brains! Safe travels and have fun in Virginia! Merry Christmas!
Was so surprised to hear you and Shiori speaking on NHK radio the other night! Was like, that Emma?!
Crying is a release of emotion - don’t hold it back 😘 I hope you had a nice time with Arick’s family
With that song playing all the time, it's almost like they don't want you to stay for too long.
Everybody needs a good cry sesh every now and then
Hi Emma, I can understand your feeling totally. I’m also embarrassed with talking in English with other International people whose mother tongue is not English and speak English better than me in the U.S. I’ve been in the U.S. for 7 years now but I’m still embarrassed. I’m from Japan.
Ahh it’s the worst feeling 😣 I feel so much judgement even if they actually aren’t judging me. But for native people it doesn’t affect me because they won’t judge my level of learning compared to theirs. I’m glad I’m not alone in the feeling but I’m sad you feel it too 😣
There are people who move here (I'm in the U.S.) and refuse to learn English but you're actually making an effort. And Emma, same for you with Japanese. Both of you should be proud that you know two languages and it's all about practice.
As someone who cries easily when I'm stressed (or whatever) I get it. People get freaked out and I'm like, no I'm fine, really...just let me be, don't worry. My tears just sort of happen sometimes. It's a pain. Glad the interview in Japanese went well. (And welcome to the US for your visit, hope you have a good time. I live nowhere near Virginia though...)
Emma, your videos are so calming and relaxing, such lovely vibes after a stressful day at work! Please never stop creating 😊 Merry Christmas!
Happy trip and hope you get some time to wind down as well! Love you guys! Take care!! xx
Merry Christmas Emma and arick and a happy new year 😀🌲
Merry Christmas Emma Have a wonderful time and a fabulous 2020.
Yay, a new video! You looked so happy when you walked that dog - I can absolutely relate, lol 😄
I love bits and pieces from work trip. And no stres about Vlogmas... You do you! (and I will watch just anything from you anyways. You are the person that brought me to RUclips and you are my favorite!)
Looking forward to videos from that America trip 🙂 Have a great time there!
Thanks for the video :) The beach looked really beautiful. I hope you have a nice break in America
Emma + Natasha (Chao) = I ship it.
Rockin video, thank you for sharing with us your anxious moments. It felt so good to see you push through the moment to the other side! Also, I like the juice media!
Crying is emotional sweating. Sometimes ya just need to cry it out.
You know what? Sometimes we just need to have a good cry. We're so used to having to keep our emotions in check, that your body just needs to let go. Sending hugs and I hope that your trip to America goes well ♥
Glad to see my girl doing well out there!! 🙌🏼💗🔥
Doing my best! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for showing behind the scenes. .. don't worry, must people feel pressure when it comes to public speaking... I can't imagine the extra stress of public speaking in a different language. I'm sure you did a great job.
Japan is so beautiful. !
can't explain why, but "having spaghetti for lunch" made me laugh so hard.
Thank you for the vlogmas stream
Ahh, such a fun video! Thanks Emma! Safe travels around Japan and back & forth to America! I liked that you tried to make stone angels, you mentioned you're enjoying BotW, and that your Japanese interview went well! Happy holidays
Have a good trip and Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
You are so hard on yourself, Emma. I am the same way. We just gotta keep working on being a little kinder to ourselves every day!
the repetitive song playing is a real problem in japan... they do it a lot in supermarkets and konbini :( really psychologically harming for the working staff i think
I like your vlogs. You're very real
Merry Christmas Emma!
I can relate. Also have JLPT N3. But I always freeze up.
very poetic and beautiful
I missed you so much!!!
Merry Christmas ♡
I would love to see you host some NHK World programs. They need to get you on board! Happy Christmas Emma! Hope you have more happy times than sad times in the new year. :)
Man, winter in this part of Japan looks super mild this time of year. Great video btw!
I live in Virginia. Enjoy our beautiful state! Merry Christmas!
Hope your enjoying your trip, you need this time off and rest.
🤗😍💖🎄📸👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I know you guys had fun.
“A little sad time.” A mood
I'm glad that you're doing okay and coming to America! i live in Virginia Beach and I really wish I could meet you :'(( but I hope you enjoy your time here and get to see lots of cool stuff. :)))
Virginia is pretty great (I'm next door in Kentucky, which is also pretty great)---recommendations if you're able and haven't already gone to America and left: if you're near the mountains, go hiking---the weather is supposed to be pretty nice over the holidays! If you're near DC, check out the Smithsonian!
YAY, More Emma content! Great video as per usual :)
Thank you so much for coming to watch!
Feel like I haven't seen ya videos in forever ☹️
I've missed your pretty face💕
Mie-ken represent!
3:10 yaassssss ASMR
the rock at 3:57 looks like and eagle looking down, or if you include the bottom rock, an eagle screaming at people on the beach.
(12:55) For how beautiful Ginkgo trees get during the fall, I find it funny how nasty they can sometimes smell.
I'm very happy the interview went well :) (I couldn't tell since I don't speak any Japanese at all) and I think I understand how you feel. I'm an international student living in Germany and oftentimes when I meet new people, my anxiety with the language is triggered for wanting to give my best impression.
See, the interview went well!!!!!!!!
I totally understand. I just hate public speaking in general. When I have to do do a presentation at work, in my native language, I'm still a mess. Super excited to watch your next set of vlogs. I currently live in Virginia, so its always fun when someone travels to my state. ^_^
Oh no. After watching this vlog, I’m getting ads from Kumano tourism with the song. Now it’s in my head too!
Yayyyy
Sometimes sad time just happens (usually at a rather inopportune time). If you ever come out to the Washington State coast in the US, there is a beach just like that pebble beach.
3:57 If that isn't an evil lair, I don't know what is.
Have a Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁🎀❤😊
🖤
You're just so adorable and endearing. Hang in there with the public speaking!
Speaking Japanese seems plenty intimidating even if you are at a good conversational level. But going and doing the thing that you were so afraid of is so good!!
The song is being used in a Japanese Tourist Promotion video on RUclips.
I live in the UK.
Have a pleasant Christmas and New Year.
3:21 you playing with pebbles there reminded me of the Yotsuba&! chapter with pebbles
Virginia! I'm in Williamsburg!
❤
I stress cry sometimes and it is very frustrating! If you pinch the skin between your thumb and first finger it stops the tears! A little bit of control 😂
It's a hard choice who I love more - Emma or Natasha.
I wanna see the interview!
Virginia! I live in a neighboring state, North Carolina lol
Hey, I'm from there too! Was secretly hoping Emma took a visit down :)
Same 😊😊
Where in America are you visiting?
Oh my gourd a deer ! :cD
Emma, love watching your videos and thanks for being yourself and let us know what bothering you in life. Just want to ask one question, shouldn't volgmas start from 1/12? Even if it's volgmas week, shouldn't 21/12 be week 3 already? I'm a bit confused 😂
Yeah I had an original plan to film the week and have it posted by the end of each week... maybe I should just not call is vlogmas because now it’s way too late 😂 it’s just weird because I say ‘welcome to vlogmas’ in the video bahahaha
@@TokidokiTraveller Oops 🤭
If you're really stoned, you can see the stone angels!
You should be a host on NHK Journeys in Japan
jealous going to US!
FIRST VIEW!!
Just post the videos however you can; I'm happy whenever there's videos and if people leave their Xmas lights up half a year (a local salon leaves the Xmas tree all year!) you can say "vlogmas" for a good two more months, haha.
@5:48 I spent way too long looking for a "Duff beer".
The statues name is Jizzo? LOL
Those are giant grains of sand.
Aot of stuff happening. Hope that all is well. 😊
Kumano ga suki
hi emma, pls take B1 vitmine read about it, it's sooooo goodd to help u relax an come done
take care an be save
You look so cute in you yellow fisherman's friend hat and jacket,; but also very tired...again Japanese bloggers although insanely awesome seen to work solo hard..
Is it just me or is Emma losing her accent?
is that possible????
@@PotatoGawds Yes? You pick up other accents and lose your native one. Emma is sounding more American every video.
I'd hate to do impromptu interviews in any language so I understand the stress. Is it too much to ask to be interviewed via email? Are people too impatient for that? Also, an ad with that song on a loop from hell has been playing before each and every video about Japan that I've watched lately...
