The moment was fitting though 'it just transformed' ;)
Don't let it happen again ^_^
no worries, great interview
Always have backups
These guys are the most underrated group in the world and I am not paraphrasing.. really mean it
Love this! These dudes truly embody being so kind and sincere. I love everything about them. Wish I just be friends with them and just hang around while they make music and talk shop.
Oh man to be in a writing session with them 🤩 Thanks for watching!
these guys are next level, they have inspired so many other artists that its bome a genre now.
Tyler’s such a clever lyricist and awesome vocalist
You cant help but sing along to any midnight tune
Watched The Midnight play at the Academy in my hometown of Manchester just two days ago. Incredible performance by everyone on stage. Played all the hits while the singing crowd almost drowned out the band on occasions. Unforgettable! Love from England.
Thanks for the love! Super cool that you saw the crew in England! What was your favorite song from the show?!
I had a shortlist of songs I hoped to hear. Among them, Days of Thunder, Gloria, Vampires. They didn’t disappoint. Gotta say that Jason blew me away though, because it was the first song I stumbled across by the band several years ago and loved. Plus, I appreciate the duet… and Lillia (hope I got her name right) did a great job with the vocals and stage presence.
@@chookskapow they seem to go all out for their live performances!! Every live video uploaded is what you describe. what a band.. the magic flows through them and their instruments. can't wait to see them again :)
Really feel so fortunate to be a tiny part of this great community. Synthwave is a gem. Congratulations guys you've made it. I was waiting for this day like crazy. Please keep bringing more such stuff. Thank you so much.
Long Live The 80s!
Long Live SYNTHWAVE!!
Long Live The Midnight!!!!
my most played artist of 2022
I’ve been binge-watching their live performances and it’s just unbelievable how a band could sound SO good in videos, I can’t begin to imagine how they sound when you see them at an actual live concert 🤯 I wish they would do a Southeast Asian tour someday, keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏼 Loved this interview!! Cheers from Singapore 🇸🇬
I really appreciate Tim's appreciation for Emo. It really was the last time music dictated culture and lifestyle instead the other way around. Also, Tyler's Crystalline explanation sorta blew my mind. I've recently got into his solo stuff as well. I really loved this interview!!! Thank you to both of you gentlemen for doing this. I always get gitty about this band.
It was really corporations that drove that fad
Love these guys, absolutely obsessed with the band 👌🏻 just awesome music!
I love hearing Tim talk about Eurovision. I only just got into it 2 years ago, and it's so much fun!
YOU GUYS ARE KILLING IT!!! YAYY!
I was born in 1992 in Denmark, so like Tim, I also listened to a lot of Eurovision songs and Scandinavian music. However, I think the first album I bought with my own money was the debut album from Aqua; Aquarium. This album is still such a bop to this day!
The Midnight changed my life man
Same!
I listened to lots of music before this, but I think the earliest record I can remember buying myself was The Everglow by Mae. It's still one of those albums that I will never skip a single track on. Thanks so much for this interview - really great stuff!
Have yet to hear their latest release. I’ve enjoyed their previous albums so can’t wait to see what this one brings

I love The Midnight.... from Brazil... thank's for your music
Thank you for watching! 😊
The first record I've ever owned was Monsters on vinyl. I never really felt like buying music, I usually just streamed it. But I started listening to The Midnight's music late 2019 in my senior year of high school. The lore and setting of the album really made me fall in love with it becuse it resonated so well with me at the time.
Also I loved hearing more in-depth from Tim and Tyler, keep up the great videos guys.

So happy for you guys! You’ve put in the work, and this is such a well-deserved reward. Saw them in Oakland last month with the wife. The line-up, the performance energy and the audience love was up there with the best shows I’ve ever seen.
I appreciate what you guys have done to spread the word and entertain us with your deep dives. Thank you and cheers!
Thank you so much!

My first album I owned was R.A.M by daft punk. It was given to me as a Christmas gift but the first one I bought was the rise and fall of ziggy star dust. Love both of those albums.
My first single was “oh Well” by Fleetwood Mac in 1969 and album was a boxed “Let it be” by the Beatles that if I had still got today would be worth a fortune. Thanks for a great interview. Andy the Oldest midnight fan 😉
Great interview. Tim & Tyler are so cool and down to earth. Great questions from you guys.
First album I ever owned was Dookie by Green Day, to this day it's the only CD I still have in my car!
Finally got a chance to watch this. My first album was Gorillaz Demon Days. I fell in love with Damon's use of synths and so I was predisposed to synthwave early!
Love the show guys, and awesome questions.
These guys rock!
My first vinyl album was Mutations by a Tennessee band, The Pink spiders. I had never played a vinyl until that point, and I had to eBay a Sony player and get an amp. Was magical hearing sound from a vinyl the first time.
