Definitely! I don't think that exposed helm on the flybridge would cut-the-mustard when it comes to long range cruising in adverse weather. Again, check out the amazing Exquisite X5 (no, I'm not a sales person, lol).
My Uncle had a catamaran bout 30 years ago, I remember going on it 1 summer (on Lake Burleigh Griffin in Canberra) and then some years later went on a Sail Yacht in Sydney Harbour for a day trip, was great. Since finding Nautistyles and watching these videos I fall in love with the idea of owning /living aboard a yacht more and more every day.
Premiered Aug 7, thats a great day! My Birthday ! ! ! ! Love the vid's. Lots of good ideas and content and education to make me ahead of the curve when I start a charter service. Keep up the good work ! ! ! ! !
Hi guys! Really enjoy all your videos tours, all of them, but when it’s about a catamaran ,you just made my day! Just one small request, if possible and the occasion presents itself could you make a tour of a Seawind catamaran, your opinion on that brand and theirs cat would be so appreciated. P.S. the outtakes are such a bonus! Looking forward to the next video and can’t wait to see what your next boat is going to be.
Thanks for the tour. I love your tours in general, but especially the ones of sailing cats. For a performance cruiser, this really is a nice one, apart from the main sail furler. We didn't have luck with those in the past, so for us that would be a dealbreaker. And you are totally correct, other builders should paint all exposed fibreglass, even in places you be rarely in. I am not naming the builder of our cat ;-) , but they didn't do that as well. We bought a used one, and painting those areas was one of the things we did, because we use those lockers a lot while underway for weeks. Greetings from Germany, have a great time.
You sure picked the wrong day to wear a dress, Victoria. Oh, well. It sure looks cold to go along with the wind. What a great boat though. Well laid out. She looks comfortable and very usable.
Like the smaller saloon, easier to cool/heat, plus it opens up the cockpit. The helm station lets you see all 4 corners of the boat. Hope you get a chance to sail it, great boat overall.
Let me start out by saying always you look amazing. Love the dress with the shoes. 👌. Learn so much from you guys on your videos. More people need to subscribe to the channel, they want be disappointed. Rico keep up the good work. Love from Emerald Isle NC. ✌️
Rico! We love you! Honestly my wife and I think with your experience you should provide more technical talk. That would be really cool. Maybe do another show?
You guys have me hooked for more stuff to watch, so get to it please (only joking of course, but it'd be great if there were more regular episodes). You are a fab team, and both contribute towards making these videos entertaining and informative... thanks :-) I can't wait to have enough cash to have my own boat some day, and if/when I do, I'll be sure to bring it over from the UK for you to check out 😉
Gordon, we have new Yacht Tour every single Saturday, and sometimes we throw in a bonus mid-week video... so not sure what you mean by “more regular episodes” 🤔
Ha! You complained about hot humid Florida & now cold California. How about Hawaii or Tahiti for their climate? Or come to Canada & The Great Lakes Area for some snow & winter sports. Buffalo/Niagara Falls Area has some good old fashioned blizzards & snowstorms perhaps more to your liking. As I watch & write this it’s 87*F or 30*C in Ontario, & yes a humidity index of 40*C. Seriously though good videos on some very interesting vessels on your channel.....thanks for all you both do.🙏😃👍
@@NautiStyles Looks like no Benetti 37m, but the Azimut Grand Tri-Deck is also great and will be there, the Sunreef 80 and 60 Power will be there, Numarine is also in Cannes and also Horizon!
Pls do more vids helping producer Michael find the yacht of his dreams! There’s so many cool boats I could see him falling in love with.. azimut fly, galleon transformer, princess 🤩
oh wow beautiful boat, but I have been on two cameraman when I was in merchant maritime. But when it is rough weather I have seen 20 yr people in maritime get so sick on these twin hulled vessels. It is a unusal motion. Luv the girl in the adds as well, she really knows her stuff cheers from Australia
Cat tours are always a favorite! I’m off for another week of traveling, so won’t be able to join the chat, I’ll catch up when I’m back. Enjoy the premiere!
Nauti tech ?! Oh, that’s your boat …….you nauti people. 🤣 Thanks for tour…….such a wiiiiide beam this has……better to stabilize you with.lol. Sorry, I’m a little silly today 🙃 Love the zipper sneakers/boat shoes 😁
I was raised on the water but never had a boat bigger than 22 foot long and was a fishing boat. The thought of trying to handle a yacht scares me. For someone who has seen that these boats are now less than most houses I am looking at, I am thinking about how to learn all these skills necessary to captain one of these monsters. Also the laws and regulations of where you can dump your wastes products. So many wonderful places I can go to and see from the boat. Can you direct me to some information to earn to captain these wonderful boats please. Thank you for all the great boat videos.
I was thinking about the guest heads and I think I figured out the toilet situation. The manual toilet is for little ones and the electric one is for big ones, to save water and power.
Looking for a bigger cat for my family. Txo kids 12 and 14...If you have any suggestions. Ready to buy in Florida because we are going to live in Miami with a 86" feet dock...
Hiya Vico, not so sure about this one, some very nice things, but I miss the walkthrough to the foredeck. Would you have this one as your new one? Is it enough for captain Rico? Take her out for a sail, I would like to see her sail. Steve...
Hello Victoria and Rico. If you charter a Katamaran next time, can you shortly explain how it works with the sails? Is it all automaticly or most by hand? I'm a noob about it, because everything on your channel is not in my range ;) Now i live at the North Sea/Coast of Germany, but my hometown is next to Rico's, so we didn't know since Childhood how it works. Thx for your lovely videos. Have a nice Day!
if you had a $1,000,000 to spend on a motor, and on a sail; which vessels would you purchase for world cruising, which for coastal and island hopping (400/500 miles) and why? you do such a fabulous job on your reviews
Hi I am retired from the uscg and I thinking about getting my captains license to hopefully run charters who would you recommend to use for getting a license?
I would like to see some power Trimarans'. I like Catamarans. however I really am not into a sail vessel. maybe in my younger years, but now in my early 50's, I would prefer modern, and easy, especially as a future husband ,and wife owner operator, enjoying our retirement years, on the sea's and making (The Great Loop) seeing some of the rich history of the US water ways
Strange that there's no air conditioning, if the other engine bay doesn't need to fit the generator, wouldn't it make sense to have a chiller of some kind in that space?
Love the catamarans. Monohulls are not really an option for me. Although I would be solo sailing perse. I will have my 3 cats and 2 dogs/mini ponies (a Dreat Dane and Neo Mastiff) living aboard as well.
Just before looking at your current video RUclips. I saw video of "N80#01 walk -through" and no matter how beautiful this yacht maybe. Without audio i might as well been touring a mausoleum. Epic Fail!
11:18 "Our subscribers from Canada are going to laugh at us . . . . California . . . . freezing." Actually, this Canadian viewer is very interested to know how well the catamaran, and others like it, can handle cold weather sailing and living. Is it, can it, be insulated and heated?

Great tour and a beautiful boat! Hope there's some sailing footage out here somewhere. But is it just me, or did they like flip a coin when deciding which way a cabinet door should open on this boat?
Can’t wait to see you all in the LIVE CHAT during the premiere! Let me know in the comments if you think we should take this one out for a sail?
Let us know when will you have live chat in relation to your uploaded videos..Thank You

I'm a big fan of Catamaran's and really enjoy the tours. If you ever get a chance, please review the Aquila 54 .
definitely on our list of boats to film
Good suggestion. I would be curious to see how they feel about it compared to the Leopard 53.
Not my type of boat but very well shot and presented.
Great job guys you made me want to watch it all to the end.
Thanks Sam, Explorer Yacht next week
Terrific tour!! I like the features. The little table with coolers underneath and places for beverages on top was nifty. Love from Vermont
Thanks for watching!
Sorry I missed the live version but I made the taped version. Another awesome reveal. You guys rock as always,
You rock! Thanks Alan

Same here.
Good one guys. It's cold down under also, being winter. That's a nice catamaran by all means....

Great to hear!
A washer and dryer is a must have I think
definitely
You are such a natural presenter. I always click on your videos. Thank you.
Oow thank you kindly🙏🏻💙
Amazing, look at that fly bridge...
I like how they made it almost impossible to board, and the lack of rubrails when you’re at rough hewn docks.
Hi Victoria &Rico, I'm very happy that you arrived safe and sound in LA. Wow a beautiful catamaran today, I'm curious. ⚓⛵🛥😎😍
Thank you Kay-uwe! See you soon

Great video, nice yatch. But I still think the Exquisite X5 is still the best cruising catamaran out there. I'd love to see you two do a tour of that!
will do the first chance we get
FYI, the Exquisite X5 is a "cruising" cat aka not made to be fast like this Nautitech 46 Fly that is purposely made lighter for performance.
