Great video. Adjusted pace might be really good for my comrades training or even race. But more important is what shoe to use. RC elite 2 is still my favorite but hard not to use alphaflys as the are my marathon shoes that are just the best for me. Or like you guys mentioned maybe the speed. Big issues in life:). Great video as always
The adjusted pace Feature is actually what I am missing most on hilly trail runs with my forerunner 745. I am using target pace and the watch always warns me being too slow uphill even when I'm putting extreme effort in. Would target heart rate be the better option for me ?
Power takes into account both hills and even factors like wind. It’s a bit of a foreign/hard concept at first, but once you use it and understand it, it all makes sense. After power, then heart race and pace and perceived exertion. COROS watches probably do a good enough job with power, but I’ve enjoyed using the Stryd pod which will sync real time with COROS watches.
I don't own a GPS watch because it's completely out of my budget. Even on the second hand market. I know. :( My method is google maps coupled with a simple watch that has lap memory function. I trace my route on google maps and measure and note where every km. mark is. When I run I just press the lap button on each mark and I know my pace. I have like a half a dosen courses where I run and I've memorised the kilometer's marks.
I'm training by power and love it
Power, everything else is secondary, but not ignored.

Great idea for a video. 👍🏻
Thanks guys. 🙏🏻
I have been trying to see the adjusted pace post workout, is it possible to see what the adjust pace was?
Does adjusted pace account for elevation? eg Colorado vs sea level
