Primroses?? What's the verdict? Do you love them or hate them?
Love them! I love primroses, violas, any flower that looks like a blowsy East End bar maid. They are so cheerful and just exist to be beautiful.
I quite like them but they don't seem to do well in my garden, erysimum are lovely and wallflowers are a fave. Enjoyed the garden centre😁
I love ❤️ primroses, there one of my favourite flowers 💐
Thanks for visiting us and for such a great video. We look forward to welcoming back to our garden centre soon :)
Lovely that the garden centre has a show garden. I wish that they would roll that out to all branches. Ours just have planters as you go in!
Yes, I’d like to see you do a video using bedding plants xx
Yes me too. I always buy ready made containers and would like to try DIY this year

You can sow seeds on your balcony/indoor apartment ! Oh yea you can.
(You could do some winter sowing under old glass lampshades or large plastic milk bottles etc.) We believe in ya ! (They seem like expensive veg/salad pots and those onions and radishes would grow so easily from cheap seeds). Good luck with your seed/houseplant swap event too!
I've got loads of videos seed starting.. but not everyone has the space to start and store all the equipment. As I said, new builds don't have wondowsills etc. This new series is to show what they can pick up from a nursery so they can still grow :) Breaking down barriers that may stop people from giving it a go 🤙🏾
Thanks very much! Hopefully the turn out will be great ❤
I'll be starting work on my front garden soon, when the weather allows.
Those coconut coir or natural fibre Matt pots are great !!!!! One day all pots will be like that?!?! Fingers crossed
Fingers crossed. I'm going to do some investigating and seeing if I can reach out to the brand for more info for us! 💪🏾

Great video 😊 I enjoyed that shopping tour. I'm definitely getting some hellebores as soon as they arrive at the garden center and I'll make a video of it. I saw that bowl of beauty peony in the bag. I got excited cause I had one 15 years ago and forgot to dig it up when I moved.
I have more peonies now including a yellow one. It's in one of my videos.
Looking forward to your update so I can see what else you got in that bag 😊 have a great day and happy gardening 🌿🌱🌷🌼🌻🌹🐝
☺️🤗☕☕☕☕☕
Thank you soo much! Ahhh so you are a big hellebore fan!
What a keen eye you have!! Ahahahha!! This one is doing pretty well and I haven't even opened the packet yet! Are they easy to grow?
Thank you for sharing, this was beautiful. And what a truly delicious garden centre:P
I'm going to admit to being guilty of being a Primrose lover. Especially the wild ones you see carpeting areas. They always looks so bright and cheerful and have the ability to lift your mood on a dull or miserable day. I'm looking forward to a spring and summer filled with flowers and pollinators x
Who ever created the hairy pots needs a pat on the back! I have a huge stack of plastic pots from everything I've bought that and reported that's now just stacked in a corner, which seems a waste
I'll have to pay this place a visit
Yes!! Same here! It makes so much sense! I am going to see if I can find out anymore about Hairy Pot plants and maybe do a video on them 🥰
I will double check but I believe some nurseries will take your extra pots and reuse them! Hulme would be a good one but I'll get back to you on that! ❤
I don’t actually like the look of plastic pots, so I was so pleased when hairy pots made an appearance; they are so attractive. Apparently they are made of coir fibres, and I’d be interested to know how long the pot would survive if I didn’t plant it, but left it outside.
I love primroses because they are so easy to grow in my soggy Cheshire garden.
Yes, it would seem they've gone a bit crazy and really expanded! Maybe I should get a few & then reach out to the brand for some more info and do a video if that helps? 🤔
I think I might be in the minority with primroses 🙈🙈 Do you buy yours each Spring?
@@CloudGardenerUK Yes, please, I would love to know more about the hairy pots.
I try to buy primroses and bulbs like crocuses because spring is my favourite season for plants - I generally prefer the more understated look of them than the more flamboyant summer flowers. We have windowboxes, where I plant them, and then I pick up moss, when I’m walking the dog, and use it to cover the bare earth. It’s great because the moss must be full of tiny insects which attract Jenny Wrens to my garden, which is a bonus.
