You have the best ideas, thank you very much, I would like to know how can you make a multi wrap bracelet for someone else as a gift, I’ve made some for my sisters and I’ve measured their wrists and made adjustments for the clasps, but then they are either to tight or way to loose! Help!
Oh, it's so tricky sometimes, isn't it... my best advice is to finish the wrap bracelet a little short with a lobster clasp and a bit of chain so that they can adjust it. Thanks so much for your kind words!
It's a cool tool! It works best with .018-.019 wire but we've made it work with other sizes. Not sure about cord because it would have to be pretty tiny but it's worth a shot!
I definitely prefer the comfort of the 4mm Firepolish but 4mm bicones would work as well! A TON of our shoppers have made these bracelets with 4mm Swarovski bicones and they are gorgeous!
Hi Abbi.. such a cute bracelet. Thank you for sharing. I have a question you've probably heard a hundred times. I have the Magic Crimper and I bought the tubes that came with it also but what happens is the first time I squeeze it and it looks like a ravioli it's tight, but, when I continue to go around the bead to make it round by the time I get finished the crimp is loose and it comes off. Any idea what I am doing wrong? I have tried so many times and it's really frustrating, to say the least!
Janet Pitzner Thanks! Crimps came with your crimper? Where did you buy it? I’m wondering if they aren’t the right crimps for the tool. Otherwise, it’s the wire size. What specific wire brand and size are you using?
@@AbbiBerta yes it's the crimps that came with the crimper and they're 2x 2 mm tubes and the wire that was recommended was flex-rite 49 strand. I've also tried 19 strand Beadalon wire. I've used pretty much every kind of wire and I just can't get it to work on any of it
Where did you purchase your tool and crimps? Crimps don’t usually come with the crimper. I’d like to check it out so I can see what the problem might be. Sounds like it could be poor quality crimps then at this point. Not sure.
@@AbbiBerta thanks Abbi.. I actually got them from an Etsy store and I'm not at my computer right now so let me get home and check and I will let you know. I don't think that the crimps actually came with the tool. I believe it said they were made for the tool and I ordered them at the same time I ordered the tool but let me check and get back to you ok?
Add a connecting chain. They do make non-magnetic chain. Also this is such a long bracelet, I think you would notice that it came undone before it fell off.
A safety chain is a great idea, as suggested by Denise, however with magnets, it’s usually the case that you get what you pay for. They don’t really come in strengths, per se, but if you’re purchasing in-store, you can test how strong they are. If you don’t have a bead store in your area and you’re purchasing online, it’s a good idea to purchase from a reputable source. Even then, magnetic clasps should be limited to light weight projects. This project is extremely light weight and would take forever to work its way off so we’re very confident with our strong magnetic clasps for this bracelet project. Hope that answers some questions! We’re about to add our full line of magnet clasps to www.beadplace.net and we only carry the good ones. 😜
I'm definitely going to make this bracelet. I love this design and the beautiful beads. Tyfs

I love this crimper. Does anyone know if this only works with wire? How about cording?

Love this bracelet, thanks for sharing!!! :)

Would 4 mm bicones work or should the 4mm beads be round?
I definitely prefer the comfort of the 4mm Firepolish but 4mm bicones would work as well! A TON of our shoppers have made these bracelets with 4mm Swarovski bicones and they are gorgeous!
How would you size these bracelets from small to large?

I am leary of magnetic closures because I have lost jewelry due to magnets not being strong enough. Is there a strength I should purchase?
Add a connecting chain. They do make non-magnetic chain. Also this is such a long bracelet, I think you would notice that it came undone before it fell off.
