How To Set Up A New Payee On The Barclays App (How To Add A New Payee On The Barclays App). In this video tutorial I will show how to set up a new payee on the Barclays app.
⦁ First, open the Barclays and enter your passcode to log in.
⦁ Click the Pay and Transfer option at the bottom tab on your screen.
⦁ Choose Pay a Recent or New Payee on the next page.
⦁ Next, select the account you wish to pay from.
⦁ After, click the Add/Select Payee textbox. If you are paying a person or business you have done so before, select their account from the list on the next page. Otherwise, if it is a new payee, tap the Add New Payee option.
⦁ Choose to Enter Bank Details and then give the bank details of the new payee. If a reference is required, the app will prompt you to enter one.
⦁ The app will then check to see if the bank details provided match those of the recipient bank. If there is an error with the details, the app will guide you to resolve it.
⦁ Provided the details match, you can click the Continue button at the bottom of your screen.
⦁ Enter the amount you wish to pay and the reference on the next screen.
⦁ Scroll down and then select if it is a one-off payment or repeating before clicking the Review Payment button.
⦁ Select the reason you are making the payment. You will then be taken to a page that cautions you about scams. After reading, check the provided box and click Continue with Payment.
⦁ Finally, confirm the transaction details then click the Continue button. If the payee is new, you will need to enter your passcode to verify the transaction.
