I just love these two ladies. I have a handful of artists from all over the world who I think are chart toppers but for my money this song is one of the very best of the 21st century. Well written, performed by wonderfully talented humans, important topic, full of emotion and touches millions all over the world. Great reaction and more important to you than most. Well done. More Larkin Poe please.

I know this performance was recorded several years ago, and the sisters’ band has been going strong since then, even touring the world and getting nominated for Grammys, bless them. But as young as they were here, to be brave enough to do a song like this is truly commendable. I’ve been lucky enough to meet them a few times at their shows, and have been so impressed with their generosity, kindness, and appreciation for their fans. I will continue to listen and support them all the way. Rock On, Ladies!! 🤘😎🤘🎸🔥

I'm very sorry to hear about your Mom, but there are so many of us that have had parents that dealt with mental illness. It's something we all have to be concerned about. This song has brought thousands of people together...in a good way...and Megan and Rebecca need to receive all the kudos for composing this song!! Love and Aloha to everyone having to deal some sort of mental issue and to all lovers of Larkin Poe!!!❤🤘❤

Rebecca won a Mandolin playing contest at a huge national Bluegrass festival, when she was 14, the youngest person, and first woman, to win. They played Bluegrass as teenagers, In a band with their older sister, as The Lovell Sisters. Megan and Rebecca learned piano and violin as pre schoolers, been singing together since then. Older sis Jessica left the band for college and marriage, the girls became Larkin Poe, and Rebecca learned guitar, and Megan switched from Dobro, to Lap Steel. Larkin Poe was their great, great great, great grandfather's name, he was a distant cousin of Edgar Allen Poe. ✌️😊👍

Yes Rebecca wrote this at 15 and to date I’ve never heard a bad song come from these lovely ladies whether original or one of their many tribute songs on their YT page cover channel welcome to our little rabbit hole.
