- State of Decay 2 is an open-world survival-fantasy game set just after the zombie apocalypse. Your small community of survivors seeks to rebuild a corner of civilization, and you get to make all the decisions about how that happens.
You decide who to recruit to your team, where to settle your community, how to fortify and upgrade your base, and when it’s time to move to greener pastures. You select which survivor to bring along on a scavenging run for the food and ammo you need, and who you’ll use to fight off the zombies attacking your base. You choose how you’ll deal with other people who move into your town. Will you be friendly and welcoming... or will you aggressively defend your territory?
Every player’s experience in the sandbox is unique. Each character in your community has their own special set of skills and traits, so no two communities are ever the same. The challenges you face also vary from game to game, based on who you recruit and the decisions you make along the way.
With co-op multiplayer support, you can visit your friends' communities and help them through a tough spot, bringing back rewards for your own communities later. Alternate game modes include a full 10-hour narrative campaign and a four-player zombie-slaughtering "siege defense" mode.

This is why undead labs is my all time favorite game company, they aren’t greedy like rockstar games or Ubisoft and they actually update the game and add stuff that people ask for, they just care about their community

If you think there won’t be paid content in SOD 3 you all are off your rockers 😂. That being said I HOPE they are like Rockstar and allow me to grind for every single item accessible to pay to players. I love Take 2’s take, heh, on this.

I love the night darkness slider I absolutely love a pitch black night makes the game scarier and more realistic keeps you on edge.

The Trumble Valley map is so cool as regular survivors. It takes place after Heartland which is pretty interesting.
One thing I really hope we see in SOD3 is more voices. One thing that has always bothered me is since there's so few voices characters end up all sounding the same. I know they have a higher and lower version of each too, but that does very little in regards to diversifying voices.
One positive way to look at you knowing all areas within SOD2 maps....... you are truly a citizen/local of each map, as locals would know the 'best' places to go for every looting situation.
Starting a new game in general (or games you haven't played in a long time) is always exciting with discovery/looting/crafting. I can't play the same game continuously unless it's a long-play game; otherwise I get bored too quickly & drop off.
If it's anything alot of people are hoping for a better looting system in state of decay 3 where if we see things laying around like bottle of water or gun parts you can just pick it up instead of going into a looting mechanic and they added a hunger and thirst system along with fatigue.

Yeah I hate night. It doesn't make sense to do anything at night if there was a break out. You'd do everything in the day when you could actually see. You'd want to conserve batteries as much as possible too.
Pretty good features and new mission experiences they got going on here for this update!

It's nice to use the "more negative" setting, just to get more variety of curveballs thrown in there.
I always wanted to build somethings to outpost and hopefully I wait that kind of update. Or we can leave some of our survivor to outpost and guarda there if some enemies attack or something. For example maybe sniper tower and beds could be constructed. Idk could be good idea.

The extended mk3 I got on my first play through just got the game a week ago. Lol so might be new gun or something. From the tutorial when the doctor has you kill his friend in the cage.

There is a mod on Nexus where you only play during the day and it works GREAT... have not tried these changes yet, but will soon.
I wish they would add a HARD CAP to how many rolls you get on your STARTING SURVIVORS. Maybe 5 rolls per slot and you get to pick the best from those 5? I Don't like that you can basically sit there for 20 minutes rolling perfect survivors.

I know that modders have made weapon skins but when can we get official undead labs weapon skins. Imagine having a weapon skin wrapped around with Christmas tree lights.

So, this New Update had duplicated my forever Community and I'm just scared of risking deleting one of them and then relaunching the game and my Community just being gone. What should I do please help.

What blows my mind is that they're 37 updates in and they still can't fix the game. Bugs that have been there since the beginning. Also they're are new bugs... How?
just gonna say it i dont do curveballs because they are a mod i dont mod games have over 3000 hiurs in skyrim no mods and cruveballs were made by some guys in eng,and not even undead labs

What they need to do is add a real multiplayer mode. If SOD 3 doesn't have it I'm not buying it.

Spawns are more broken than ever before. I've had entire groups of zombies and even NPC disappear or appear...

Just be careful when you're in intersections of water only four-wheel drive vehicles will allow you to go through water vehicles without four-wheel drive will tend to go slower basically you're going to get a starter car that you get when you log into your first day You start your new community😮
the devs are mind readers. a while ago i installed 2 nexus mods. brighter flashlights and shorter nights, bc i hate this almost total darkness thingy. i also played 2 other games /the Hunter and Helldivers2) where the devs seem to hate their players and make updates that worsens the game. glad to see UL are the exact opposite.

Who in the F sits in there base and waits for daytime to come? this in one of those stupid changes the devs should have ignored or made an option. If allowed to gamers who play this game will destroy it with recomendations and other silly idea's.
@@reaper2943 it is a option lol if you would of watched for a few more seconds I explained how you can even make it darker now also it’s a choice for the player how they want it to look.
