I'd like to see a video on this machine as far as it's sewing abilities. Thickness/material recommendations, tips, etc...I'm considering buying it...just trying to do my research before making the purchase.
Hi, we have a 550 circa 2013 we bought from Steve at Wichita Falls. It has a different threading mechanism on the top coming directly from the thread. No matter which way we place the thread through the thread guide on top of machine, it is not working. The other reason could be that we did not receive the attachment you show (and the instructions show) on top of machine. Ours is a post with a threading hole and a round piece tensioning piece to put the thread through. It may be that we are using wrong part and just do not have the part shown in the accompanying instructions. Any thoughts? Many thanks, Bernadette and Lou
