This is the way to do a build video. The gear finding at the end is priceless! Great job. Got romped by the Act 3 boss over and over and over and over and over and... well... you get the message. Level 50. Reworked my skill tree to your specs. Tore him up one side and down the other!
Excellent Video - 10/10. Watched so many videos till now, no one explained like you. Please make such video for Monk as well. Thanks for such a wonderful video.
New ppl are just playing poe wrong. They’re just expecting exalts and divines to drop while farming. In their earlier game what they SHOULD be doing is pick up white socket items and superior items, salvage those to get materials, then exchange it to get Exalts from Alva.
This is actually the 5 head strategy I unfortunately just started doing. I’m picking up everything and disenchanting them to craft currency and then exchanging
That's a great call out - It's important to remember that there are other ways to build currency wealth and using the currency exchange is a great way to do it
@ I had 2 drop back to back in 10 mins t5 maps!!!!! An I gave the second to my buddy!!!!! I would have felt bad keeping it when I just got my first one ever!!!
@ I got 2 divines !!! Back to back first ever in only like 20 hours in maps gave one to my friend since he was with me I’d feel bad for keeping the second one!!!!
Great question - As builds using those skills are so popular, gear is more expensive. The goal was to build for 1 exalt each and still clear T15 and I found this route was the best for simplicity and cost. This was simply a different approach to early game but switching to orb of storms, herald of ice, and cast on shock could be advisable after you have the gear required!
Hi great video but 1 question: Why we dont use elementel focus (25%elemental dmg) instead of innervate? Because innervate just do 35% more dmg if the supported skill shock. Or does it mean „with any“ supported skill? Thank you
Few ways to help with mana - Mana flasks that generate 0.2+ charges per second, 50% or higher mana regen on amulet, mana leech on gloves, or rings. Also make sure you get decent rolls of increased max mana on gear, having a large pool to start helps a ton!!
there is are two good passive tree slots that help with mana too. one is way down near the "Bow" on the skill tree kinda looks like a flask, then the other is just north of falcon technique. Mental toughness and wellspring are their names
Thanks. I am equipped with a +4 Levels projectile skills bow, and it boosts the damage a lot, but depletes mana very fast too... I will definitely try your setup.
Yeah the damage is really nice but mana can go quick - Few ways to help with mana - Mana flasks that generate 0.2+ charges per second, 50% or higher mana regen on amulet, mana leech on gloves, or rings. thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you! Finally a guide that helps with more than just buttons to push! I also just happened to get Quill Rain Shortbow while helping my daughter in act 2 boss ... it shoots Crazy fast.... dmg is low.... How can I make this work????
I appreciate the feedback! More guides to come in the near future. Quill Rain has that problem, it's very fun for Act 1 but a rare weapon will outperform it for the rest of the game. I'd swap it for a rare bow and put in the stash and use it on another character when leveling! I even partially leveled my monk using a bow until I unlocked Ice strike
Like yopur Video I just hit level 72, I was wondering you said in your video you made 3 passive skill builds from 75-80 ect ect ect... I only see one build?
Can you help me understand how your dps on the arrow is 28k. I am lvl 84 got the same tree almost the same gear and got 11k. Not clearing T15 cause of the lack of damage
I'm happy to help. Make sure you're taking all the damage nodes. You said you have the same tree so I'll assume the gear is lacking. Forgive me but I'll just fire off a bunch of questions and we can try to narrow it down. What's your physical DPS on your bow? Do you have flat physical as well (x to x for physical damage)? Attack speed or +1 levels levels to projectiles? This is the starting point where small upgrades make a decent difference. Don't forget to increase the quality to 20% once you have the right one. A key miss for a lot of people is the quiver - For example, a minor quiver upgrade with the right stats gave me 6-7k extra dps A good quiver will give you X to X for physical, X to X for lightning, projectile speed 35% or more, attack speed base with additional attack speed. Check my quiver in the video and see if you have close to the same. Do you have attack on the gloves? X to X for physical, X to X for lightning, attack speed What level are the skill gems? Did you get the extra projectile for your ascendency points?

Bow is okay- I personally choose to go with non-dual string for this build until you are able to farm maps and earn more currency to upgrade your gear all around. The dual string has a lot lower attack speed which will have reduced DPS and it slows me down bossing quite a bit. Dual string is great once you are able to get your damage higher- Highest physical DPS is the goal starting out. The trade site updates very frequently so I'm sure you could upgrade here and sell yours for similar price. I've been streaming every day for a month. If you hop in my stream tomorrow or any time I'm live, message in the chat and remind me -- I'll give you a bow for free that will help a lot - I save some extras to giveaway or past upgrades that haven't sold. Quiver - Good stats but missing high projectile speed which is a big damage boost because it stacks with Feathered Fletching node - it allows increases to projectile speed to apply to damage with bows. Search for 35% or more projectile speed. I'd bet your damage shoots quite a bit here with those upgrades. Gloves - okay for now - lightning damage would be a boost over cold and/or a decent attack speed roll will help but not necessary. I'd say the bow and quiver are the main culprits. Were you able to get 4 support gems in lightning arrow?
18k dps on lightning arrow with a 350+ dps bow (physical lightning) and ball lightning able. About 2 divines gear not counting the unique gloves that give atk speed per dex and lightning damage per intelligence which is the biggest damage boost you can get from gloves. (got lucky and looted them) That shows that it's not a 1 exalt build at all in the video. Even his quiver is god tier if you're looking for these exact stats. I also want to point out that you'll run out of mana pretty quickly while also having almost no survivability with that budget. (having 75% all res but 30% chaos only and 2.5k health pool which is bad with 2 div investment) You'll occasionally do t15 maps with no modifiers whatsoever but not with 1 exalt investment even with 200 exalts, believe me. (no breach, no irradiated, no delirium). Don't be fooled guys. My monk following no build can run t18 fully juiced breaches and not die in comparison but melee... (not good enough for now due to melee bugs that's why I was looking into ranger, knowing how evasion energy shield defenses work in detail)
So you think we can start with 1 exalted and farm the rest over time for pieces of gear? I’m having a hard time middle a2 around level 31 I think. The build I was following stopped at 30 so I’m sort of guessing what will work for the rest of my talents
Absolutely! Use the 1 exalt to trade for a good bow around level 30-35 and farm from there. A good bow may last you to level 45-50. By this time you'll have another exalt so use that for a new bow and sell the old one for the same price you bought it for. Get damage nodes early! The nice part about deadeye is that a good offense = a good defense as long as you are patient and stand back while shooting. Try and recognize what gives you a lot of damage, for example: Attack Speed, Adds X to X Physical or Lightning Damage to Attacks, +1 level to projectile skills, etc. Get Adds X to X Physical or Lightning Damage to Attacks on gloves and both rings , Attack speed on Gloves and Quiver, and find as high of Physical damage Bow as possible.
Wow, if you're having trouble with a ranger during campaign, you're in for a big disappointment at maps. It's hands down the best during campaign and early maps once you change all your gear at that point.
