These sound like some really good recommendations! Hopefully Song of Achilles grows on you. I read House in the Cerulean Sea and absolutely loved it, so I think I need Under the Whispering Door. 'House' never felt too heavy for me, but I get how it might be for some. I also immediately got Lore for my Kindle (because give me anything even barely related to Greek history/mythology).
Ok, now that I finished watching I need to make another comment. A lot of these books sound great! I'm really interested in the first book you talked about, it sounds like it was the perfect read for women's history month. The middle grade graphic novels both sound awesome, and I think I might try to find a copy of The Mary Shelley Club at my library. I've been wanting to read some dark books recently, and that sounds like it fits my mood!
