I really enjoyed this video. The price seems ridiculous to me but when you do the exchange it makes sense. I am surprised to hear you saying that the price of food is going down in Jamaica but the cost of food has gone up where we are in 🇨🇦due to inflation of course. You got a lot of stuff 🙂 I swear I just went to the supermarket spent $100 and can't see what I bought. Thank you for posting.
Yes certain food items has gone down but the ones that depends on overseas inputs are still a bit high. Wholesale shopping is really making a difference in terms of purchasing power. I encourage more people to do it and leave the expensive supermarkets to who can afford it. It's not as comfortable and convenient but much cheaper.
Thank you guys for letting us see how well you did in your shopping,it is encouraging for us because we will be traveling to Jamaica next month for 2 weeks, and even though you did that in the country area it still gives me some idea on how to budget myself to last us for the 2 weeks we will be spending there in Kingston. keep up the good work, and thanks again.😍😍👍👍
Yes indeed I'm going to do another video buying the same stuff at a popular supermarket and compare the prices then you will see exactly how much more expensive they are.
I need that cinnamon roll and the spice buns.😢😢 Can't always find some of the Jamaican snacks in my little city up here. The prices are crazy!! But you guys seem to have gotten a lot of stuff in comparison to some other videos of Jamaican shoppers. Over here in the US, $100 doesn't get us as much as what we used to get before COVID!! We're still feeling the effect of COVID with these prices at grocery store etc. We get mad (upset) when we see an increase of a dollar or two in the price of an item. So I can imagine how you guys out there feel when an item increases by $300 or whatever!! So ridiculous!! Loved your narration of this video, very detailed!! You really gave us (living in US etc) an insight Into the prices. We love seeing Jamaican RUclipsrs cooking or shopping. It's fascinating since we no longer live there. 🫶👌🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲☀️🌴🏝️🏖️😮😮❄️⛄🥘🍜🥣🍛🍝
That's true where we shop is definitely affordable and I noticed a big difference compared to when I shop elsewhere. Things can work here trust me just need to be smart and live simple and conservative. Thanks for stopping by. I appreciate the support and the commentary. Wish I could send you some of those snacks
Honestly when I spend $100, only meat I can reach is some turkey neck, no fruit, food only last for the week with 2 household that's why I'm moving back home so I can plant and eat my own .
I just came across this video and I have to shake my head because living in the USA now $100 can't buy all that, the meat alone you're spending about $40, 1 hardo bread right now is $6 and a 1doz egg now over $4 store brand anything else over $5 .
I would love to but I'm not a member and you have to pay an yearly subscription to shop there. Not sure if it would be economical for me given the amount I'm buying but I think it is economical if you are buying in bulk.
That would be great but last year one of my colleagues gave me her card to use and you know they didn't accept it. I was shocked 😲 is a gentleman in the line assisted me I was embarrassed when the lady told me the card holder had to be present
Love this video micheal big up!
Thank you love and respect
Me too
Great video.
Thanks to you 😊

Good shopping.

You are most welcome Lorraine thanks for checking in as usual
Thanks for giving us the price for the items, i have seen videos which shows the items but not the prices. You did very well.
Thanks you are most welcome
That is more than what I get for a $100 US at the supermarket.
Where are you from if you don't mind?
Especially when you think about the meat....that would be 125-150 here in Maryland
It's not bad at all
Love your channel! I'm a small RUclipsr too and honestly I love your content. Keep up the good work
Thank you and I wish all the best for your channel will check it out when I have the time
A very good spend for one to two weeks of grocery. 🤔 I think I am spending way too much on groceries. Probably need to shop wholesale.
