Both are cool. The Marauder wasn't intended as a drag car. It was intended as a well rounded daily driver with spirited performance and a little attitude. At which it succeeded beautifully. Crown Victoria interceptors are cool because, well they are interceptors!

I think it's going to be close. Although the marauder does have a duel over head cam 32 valve v8, while the p71 has 16 valve v8 which does matter for performance. Although this crown vic is lighter then that marauder

I just got a 2011 w/ only 60,000 miles on it ... only thing I've done is removed rear cats n muffs and put performant muffs n pipes on it, Sleeping on so many cars on the freeway

I'm not surprised. A lot of it is gearing. I went from 2.73 and steel driveshaft to 3.55 and alum driveshaft and there is a HUGE difference in how it gets off of the line

I did this exact swap in my 99 Mustang GT. There’s no comparison between the 2V and 4V In my case same exact car and drivetrain other than the engine itself. All numbers on DynoJet so no silly roller weight input to fudge with dyno numbers like Mustang and other loading dynos 4.6 2V - Custom tune, JLT w/ 90mm MAF housing, LTs with full 2.5” OR exhaust, Bullitt intake manifold with twin 57 TB, UDP - 254 rwhp / 283 rwtq It later Made 281 rwhp with VT Engines Stage 2 N/A cams Swapped to a 2005 Aviator engine, added ported Mach 1 intake intake (same lower as Marauder), 7/8 lid spaced, 2001 Cobra intake cams (not degreed), 1-5/8” x 3” LTs (kept same 2.5” catback), stock Aviator crank pulley with Cobra R alt pulley, JLT with 90mm MAF housing -353 rwhp / 353 rwtq The 4V even made ~280 rwtq by like 2200 rpm which is about what the 2V made at peak up over 4000 rpm. The 4V smoked the 2V at every point in the power band, even down low. Zero comparison, similarly modded and at similar weight the Marauder will drive out of the 2V Crown Vics life Hard to screw it up when the 4V head outflows the PI by about 100 cfm at peak, even more at low lifts, has a much better chamber design, much better valve angles and it has more compression. Stock 99-04 GT make like 220 rwhp, stock Machs were often making close to 290 rwhp and they responded better to mods. What was like a 70 rwhp gap stock for stock often ended up closer to 100 rwhp once both got basic basic bolt ons.

One thing for sure you probably won't see another MM that color. PS an cool photo op would be nose to nose with a grabber blue Boss Mustang.
Mr Random Reviews, I NEED HELP. I have a 2000 Crown Victoria LX Special Edition. It was a one owner with 140,000 miles. Since I've had 2 yrs the SES light shows a miss fire 7 and 3.Everything is new. Driving the SES light starts blinking, It Biggs down then clears up. I do have the P71 ECU swap. No change putting the factory back in. HELP please but on messenger

Ah ok, was able to get 9.95 1/8th my vic with a muffler delete. DA was about 2000 according 5o dragy at gateway. Considering the bumper diversion holes to reduce drag.
That marauder is not running right at all. Back in the day, I was obsessed with the panther platform and I’ve had four of them just never a marauder. I did my version of a crown Vic sport that turned out to be awesome pretty much everything I could do to it and it made right around 310 hp but somethings wrong with that car. It should’ve done way better better than it did. I believe they should’ve came supercharged from the factory, but even 50 horse over a stock grand Marquis is pretty noticeable if the car is running correctly
marauders do have more power but its also heavier with a much heaver motor as well. The marauders were overrated to be honest. i would like to have one but ill keep my grand marquis over getting one.

The smaller diameter tires on the CV make a huge difference.
Supercharge them both Kenne Bell, T56 them both, and 4.10 rear gear them both.. Whoop!

Marauders I believe were all 3.73, CVPI's came in 3.27, 3.55, and 3.73 gears. I heard 4.10s but i have never seen them come stock
