Glad I found you. I have been trying to get painterly. You seem to have achieved that quality. what has confused me is the colors’ names! They are not what I think they will be. It will take constant use to get used to oil pastels. Even at the halfway point, this is brilliant.
Super, master! I had listening you again, many times this week (18th-23rd,July). Your style is so impressive as yours impressionist style! It is so lovely done and well explained and showed, TKY so much again, for your teaching lesson! I would love to apply it somewhere else with others master painters! You wouldn’t never know how much you made me a better pastellist with oil pastel! Ps: I had found the complete picture of this American artist Demi More, and I had done a first painting like yours on A3 format (13X19 inch) and a second oil pastel more realistically with the same colours numbers in 12X12 inch with Sennelier oil pastel. I am convinced that you were used extra colours pastel that you suggested in the tutorial after filming. I had laughted when you were breaking up some pastels under your strong hand pressures! Hihihi! 😆 I do understand now, why you are not using the Sennelier, but you are chosen probably art supplies to be founded easily, by most of your followers! I would love so much to meet you for real and having classes (maybe on line?) as a student! I had redoing all your pictures that you had done over here, since the past three years. I had introduce you to our Canadian art supplies with Omer DeSerres Pdg. In Montreal, last year, in order to make Corean oil pastel selling (Mungyo, Hwawon, Hashi, etc…) I am organized a next classes for winter on line on theirs DeSerres platform. Furthermore, I decided to wait a bit for selling my book by including an introduction of my own paintings about major techniques of using oil pastels and using the masterpieces of oil painters trough out the centuries. So it will be a reference book for beginners as well for advanced artists in fine art. But, I don’t have any fine art education, so I am autodidact one by studying seriously! Please keep of being inspired, master Wunemo, because you are one of the rare reference artist in fine art, mastering the oil pastel for more a real paintings so beautifully! 😊 your devoted fan from Quebec in Canada. I am appreciating to have the subtitles in English with the colours numbers, even if I am knowing them by earth by seing the filming of your hand using each week! 😊,Quebec in Canada 🇨🇦
I am very impressed, master Wunemo! TKY so much! Painting portraits with realism with oil pastel pastels was my first art paintings three years ago and I loved that a lot. Now I am doing something else more sophisticated, but differently than you for sure.you are using a different kind of paper which it seems to be for pastels more specifically. Please continue to move us artistically each week, because I am always anxious to see each week-end what you had prepared for us! TKY so much of being there with your art done with fine art manner! Alway yours from Quebec in Canada, ❤😊
I really love your oil pastel videos, especially how realistic your paintings look! I wonder if you could make a video where you share tips on learning oil pastel painting/drawing and about how you learned it.
