Hello! Also became a lucky owner of the Tornado and several questions appeared at once: 1) How to change the filament from one color to another? 2) Is it possible to do this when printing? If possible, then how to move the extruder from the model, fill another filament color, return the extruder to the print position and continue printing?
I was wondering where I can find information on the nuts used on the printer. I need spares for the nema stepper motors, but I have no idea what to order. Already ordered some that are the wrong size. Also, where can I find information on the board used - things like voltage calibration?
Got mine yesterday put it together no issues there but when I tried to print something another story. When i insert sd card it says card inserted But the I got to menu it says no card, and when I try to print from computer in the log I get communication time out - reset send buffer block and I have no idea what that means please help
Don’t buy anything from homers website. I bought a magnetic base for my homers Odysseus/ tevo tarantula pro. I made the order in august 28th and until now didn’t receive. They don’t answer my emails, a really bad experience
I have never been so pissed off in my life then I opened up this box. I ordered the 2018 version and got this printer plagued with a handful of issues. Pffff shame on you all.
Kletskoek It makes me upset seeing people try and get a free "sample" to do a review. Your audiemce is none and the company will loose not gain money sending you one
Depending on your reach That is not true. If you have subscribers to your channel and just one person sees it and buys one they make their money back plus some. The cost to them is less than the cost to us so even selling one off someones review makes them money. Chances are more will be sold from a good review.
You should ask which idiot engineer thought having raised screw heads on a flat bed printing surface....was a good idea! My grandson (4 yrs) even asked if this would be bad for nozzles and reduce the print area! Are countersunk holes peculiar to only western Countries? One person not going to buy this...me.
The bed is oversized the print area is actually inside the screws. The printhead can never reach the screws. However the screws wont stop turning when adjusting the bed, which is a pita! So I use a L shaped allen to hold the screws while I adjust the knobs on the bottom even with lots of spring pressure the screws rotate. Again a pain. I have 2 CR10s and they are tons easier to get setup and start a print for a beginner as well as having profiles already in CURA. I have spent 2 days trying to get my Tornado setup to print and I am trying to figure out if I need to load firmware on the printer or not. It goes past the z and x stops triggers the switches and still keeps trying to step the motors. Yes it has improvements over a CR10 like the bed heater and possibly the titan copied extruder but the setup is not for a beginner.
Paul F You can put a nut on and tighten it down before sliding the spring on. This will keep the screw from turning. I had to do same thing on my A6. So far I am not impressed with my Tornado. I have yet to get successful prints due to fusion problems 😞
ive got this printer, im a total 3d printer noob, i was printing with it the same night i got it, fantastic product, good job tevo
Looking good. I was hoping to see a good cr-10 killer and I think this might be it.
Thanks for sharing. What about a giveaway?
Wow, nice editing on this video!
Could you do a manual aswell, with named pieces and direction for each piece?
Just got it today should I flash/update the firmware or use it stock?
Dylan Kowalski it's the firmware brother ;)

If I were to mod this in anyway could that void a possible warranty?
