If you describe yourself as anything, I'm going to guess that you're the opposite of that. Every time. There's an old saying "Me'thinks he doth protest too much" well the same goes for those who praise themselves or talk about their own characteristics constantly. If you have to keep saying it than it is either you trying to convince the rest of us or yourself. I try hard not to praise myself, and if you ever do hear me say something, I'm BSing the entire world on purpose and don't believe it, I am quite literally Just Kidding. Someone asked me a while back if I thought I was a kind person and did not like it when I said "Well, I hope I come across like one in most situations but I would never say so about myself, because wanting to be praised for what I do is not my goal." Pretty sure they got mad because they go around talking about how nice and kind they are. Lol I wonder how many people she's tried to convince she is a good person. I don't worry about that. I know who and what I am, I don't need praise from others. And if they do praise me then I don't say thank you. I will not accept praise for just being what someone thinks is a decent human being.
