I think this is great practice for those important touch shots around the net. Have you ever played a game where you placed the ball on top of the net and let it fall?
Hi HQ...I can't control my shots with my "normal" stokes in short court and have to resort to a continental and chip everything on my FH and use a single chip BH even though I use a 2HB in matches. I love how you guys hit with good pace and spin. Any tips for better control on shots?...thanks
Racket head speed. The more you accelerate the racket, the more spin you'll get so you'll make the ball drop. Just think about the trajectory you want the ball to go (up from your racket then down into the box) and let your body figure it out. You'll struggle a bit at first but you'll find it
Can you make a video when you just rally with one of your friends. Idk why but those are really fun to watch
Great mini tennis drills keep up the good work

Nice drills! Never seen some of these before. Really liking the racquet head speed one. What does the bounce game one do in general?
Bounce game is great for activating the feet because you move around a lot. Good for feel as well
Do you use your normal grip on racquet head speed? Or just more vertical path? I've always struggled to topspin in this standard warmup.

Usually for the touch game I make a rule where the ball has to bounce - removes volleys from the mix which helps get into the touch mindset
Why is the cross court game considered a racket head speed drill?
