ive leveled with a foh pally this season and did use an act4 light merc. He has sanctuary aura higher than mine, a insight staff for the jucy manareg and heals me with his holy bolts when i tank bosses. I can run vigor most of the time and switch to holy freeze if theres a nasty pack/a boss. Honestly, for leveling (solo, casual) this is just superiority. Later on when your plus skills kick in, you get a higher sanctuary and redemption aura and can ofc. run something tankier that doesnt provide manareg/heal so much. Like hell, lvl 70+ probably going into act 3. But for now its just a pot-less chilled playtrough for me.
Yeah having Pus Spitter on top of having dual plagues is very helpful since it provides an additional source of lower res on a CobraStrikeSin. I also have a Vigor Act 1 merc. Also with Pus Spitter it would very useful to get 4 os on it and put 4 shael runes in it so your merc is procing lower res on a pretty regular basis.

After like 10 maps and stuff I have yet to find a HR!!! Figured I’d give ya some crowd source intel. All in all I love two handed Zealer. Kinda slow for farming but duck it, it’s cool.
When you were speaking about a more end-game version of summonzon you suggested that Faith and Atma's on yourself could be a decent option. In this case in your opinion which bow bases would be good for the faith rune word when using faith on yourself with Strafe. Thank you great videos by the way!
I'm a summon necromancer (Skeleton Warrior, Revives, 3x curses - maxed curse mastery in order to cast amp dmg, decripfy and weaken) and got a physical act 1 merc. Equiped her with Templars might, faith bow, giant skull and razortail for pierce. It works really well so far! Would take some sugestions if anyone have some for the build!
Im using in my CE necro act4 dark merc. He provs amp and conviction Im casting lower res without need to put points in curse master. So Im high amp, max lower res, conviction, almost o imunes in game for me XD
I don't like that devs are neglecting summoners. Summoner is another way way of playing the game ffs and I can't enjoy summoner because of the changes :/

if you cast lower res, it doesn't remove the amp casted by your merc?
