@dsngsp RAF is british air force as you probably know. the british where on our side again as you probably already know. its not uncommon for their to be cooperation among british and american troops. and for the friendly fire thing it doesnt look like easy company had a radio and if i understand right red smoke means "shoot at this". green smoke means "supply drop". and those p47's where american, the american symbol was a blue circle witha white star inside
I'll keep that in mind for the Pacific one plan on doing, though currently I'm leaning towards Get Out Alive by Three Days Grace. But I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion!

@TheKillerWeb You may be right, this part always confused me. I was under the impression that the fighters mistook the soldiers as foes and if you slow down the footage the ground troops are US and the fighters are RAF.

@ADogX I don't fully understand at which point you refer to, so here are a few possibilities. 0:34 firing the artillery/anti-tank gun are German 1:23 are US Paratroopers (always Easy Company in the series) 1:45 is Easy Company (under attack from an artillery strike) 2:36 is a squad from Easy Company discovering a concentration camp 2:59 is Easy Company during training (war games) exercises in Britain Does that help?
I respect your opinion, and this part confused me too, but I don't think that the fighters are RAF... If you look closely at the left wing at 1:31 you'll be able to see an USAAF roundel.
@Crazyfreak221 That is correct from what I hear (that the army leaves no one behind, breathing or not). I just chose a song I thought best fit the series and did what I could, however if you had a suggestion for a song that might fit better I might give it a shot. Any ideas?
I completely see your thinking there. I recognize we as Americans are "spoiled" and agree with you regarding that. However (and I'm guessing you were not implying this but just to be clear), though another world war would fix that, I would never hope for another war. Both World Wars brought so much death.

This was awhile ago but those are US warplanes, I don't believe the RAF flew P-47's that much for one, and two just what i saw, I could see the star surrounded by blue on the plane's tail, its not important but just saying :P

wrong,those are American ww2 army decal,there is a circle under the wing but there is a star in the middle of it and white stripes
