What a find. The Arsenal-Everton game was one of the first games I attended. I remembered the score and Ross' remarkable free kick (the playback doesn't quite capture how Jennings stood rooted to the spot, waiting for Latchford to touch the ball), but I'd forgotten Brady's 2 goals. Another memory - at Kings Cross tube on the way home, some lads using their bare hands to smash the glass covering adverts lining an escalator. Ketchup everywhere by the time they reached the top. No idea if they were Arsenal or Everton. Any one else see this?

Good old Clive Thomas! Everton fans love him!😄
The Arsenal Irish players 77/78
Pat Jennings, Pat Rice, Sammy Nelson, Liam Brady, David O'Leary, and Frank Stapleton.
That Argentina v Peru World Cup match was absolutely fixed. The Peru players didn't even tackle & Brian Moore should have said it.
I wonder why Martin Dobson was so subdued when he scored
Diving was alive and well back in 1978. 😏
