You are the first restorer I've seen complete eliminate the old edge before restoring it. But, given its condition, I completely understand what you did it. Nice job all around!
Nice restoration job. I did a similar one but left most of the pitting on the blade rather than try to make it look new as it gave a really interesting historical look to it.
Fantastic restoration on this old rusty Machete. The blade was absolutely beautiful after you got all the pits off and polished it up. The handle looks perfect. It looks great all together. Thanks for sharing your video. I enjoyed watching it. Looking forward to the next one. Be safe and stay healthy
what happened to the Corby bolts? i had to rewind a few times just to make sure, but you showed us the bolts and then proceeded to saw 2 pieces of some steel bar and used those instead. all fine and dandy BUT why even mention them in the first place? anyways it was just an observation.
I see what you mean. To me it looks like once the handle was shaped the Corby bolts would have been to long. He would have to grind them off anyway. 🤷🏻♂️
Yes its a way of confusing people that wants to learn simple diy skills He's s also not using the correct tools for the job at the start and he'll slowly change his tools until he knowingly gets to the right tool for the job confusing people and letting them go buy tool that not appropriate wasting money on useless tools
What’s a Amazing show! Someday, you’ll have power Magician. From sick to beautiful machete! Super job, Fellow 😀 You’re great job, Knifemaker! Very cool Machete 🔪 See ya next best show!
I'm just starting to come around to the idea my self but maybe try keeping some of the pitting it keeps the look of an old piece but in a good way it adds to it. I'm not good at explaining things lol but it's your choice I've just seen it on other channels is all 😊
Honey...did you see my Arm&Hammer laundry booster? I know I bought some last week! 🤭 Great restoration! All the pitting is gone! Another fantastic display of craftsmanship! 🍉🔪👍
I'm just asking because I don't have any idea. If you sand the heck out of it with 40 grit sandpaper and remove all the surface material, why do you bother hand brushing, electrolysis, bench grinder... I understand you need to make it interesting but I don't really know the reason for those delicate steps then 40 grit sandpaper.
Why did you go to the trouble of showing us the corby bolts, drilling the stepped holes for them, and then using steel pins anyway? Makes no sense…. 🤔🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️💀
Good work but did not enjoy watching this time. Just your table, machines and couple of requests for subscribe. I would like to watch more about your work not few funny videos you edit. 👎🏻
I am a bit confused why you would start your work with the most useless tool and slowly progress to the tool thats appropriate for the job??? Because its whzt you do everyday You should know whats the correct tool to use from the start and teach people not to go buy tools that don't work because they want to follow your example Its not fair to the people on the low budget end

Simple but beautiful restoration

Always i see your videos before sleep. Makes me feel peace.
This video has been up for 6 days and I haven't seen it until now! Forgive my tardiness. It turned out beautifully.
Beautiful restoration mister good job well done

That was a lot of work. Great results. Thanks for sharing.
A wonderful restoration. You must have quite a collection of restored items? Thank you for a great video. 👏👍🏼
Excellent results! And enjoyed your use of the Force!
Okay, I lost it at "Let's use the vice to cut these rods..." 🤣😂🥰

Looks awesome my friend nice work on the handle and the pitting 👍👍👍😊😊😊♥️
Nice job, yeah it was pretty mangled at the start, you have given it a whole new life!! 👍👏🙏
0:28 "You're not supposed to *cut rocks with this thing* ...😕" (Danny "El Machete" Trejo would probably agreed with that bro...)
I'm really enjoying watching you man, you're amazing, thanks man

Magnífico demais 👏 !
another saved and restored item brought back from the rusty grave
Nice finish.👍
Good stuff. You have a new subscriber. Would have liked to see the blade sharpening though.
I'm just starting to come around to the idea my self but maybe try keeping some of the pitting it keeps the look of an old piece but in a good way it adds to it. I'm not good at explaining things lol but it's your choice I've just seen it on other channels is all 😊
I'm surprised you don't use a sandblaster. That would make your job a lot easier.
You should do a contest ware you could win a restored item.
Nice
Put tape on the wood before cutting it to stop it from splintering.
If you wantt the wood to pop more. Try burning it with a blow torch.
I think so counselor named Jason at a summer camp is the guy that mistreated that machete.
Nice job! Danny Trejo would be happy to weild that implement :-)
Honey...did you see my Arm&Hammer laundry booster? I know I bought some last week! 🤭
Great restoration! All the pitting is gone! Another fantastic display of craftsmanship! 🍉🔪👍
Jason wants his machete back
Jó macséta
It's really hard to believe the blade came by that damage naturally.
Unless it once belonged to a lunatic who tried to cut up a kettle bell with it.
I thought it was an old lawnmower blade that had been used to cut the weeds in a gravel driveway at first. Lol
Show 👏👏🇧🇷🇧🇷
Try to find the smallest rusty pocket knife and restore it
... почему не стал полировать клинок мачете?-, плюрт -некст, инча, цаваттанем
👍👍👍😎😎😎
electrolysis as far as my puny brain understands it can take some time and sacrifices some other piece of metal to the rust gods.
Flea market find?
Remember to get you Tetanus booster every 10 years. 😁
That's a corn knife, not a machete.
There are certain places where being a melon is not a good idea.

Гарри Поттер ты ли это?🤦😆
...похож!-, но не ты!!!
Fucking SUBBED!
Why are their fruity pebbles on every before picture?
Why did you go to the trouble of showing us the corby bolts, drilling the stepped holes for them, and then using steel pins anyway? Makes no sense…. 🤔🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️💀
It's so strange: hey guys, corby bolts.
Next thing it's pins and epoxy?
Perhaps they changed their mind?
Changed his mind or they didnt quite work as planned off camera?
It is kind of funny though
Good work but did not enjoy watching this time. Just your table, machines and couple of requests for subscribe. I would like to watch more about your work not few funny videos you edit. 👎🏻
Why do none of you restorer types EVER add a finger guard to your blade restorations? It Drives me batty! Good restoration otherwise, mind.
I am a bit confused why you would start your work with the most useless tool and slowly progress to the tool thats appropriate for the job???
