- For the first time on their 2023 World Tour, Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band performed “Cadillac Ranch” live in Austin, Texas on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Moody Center. This song started the encore and was song #21 of the night.
This was the first time "Cadillac Ranch" had been performed by The E Street Band since February 4, 2017.
E Street Auxiliary member, saxophonist, Jake Clemons was not in attendance for this show due to being ill with Covid-19. Eddie “Kingfish” Manion filled in on all saxophone solos and did a phenomenal job.
This concert in Austin was my 33rd time seeing Bruce Springsteen perform. It was my 25th time seeing The E Street Band perform.

1 time in 67 shows. That must be a record even for Bruce. Seen him 7 times. Not one time has Cadillac Ranch appeared. My favourite Bruce song. A given sucess in a concert. I dont know Why he does not play it. But dont count on seeing it more on this tour if you have tickets.

Agreed. The sax solo in this song, originally played by, of course, Clarence Clemons, is the highlight for me. The E Street Horns on this song gives it a totally different feel.

Seen Bruce 7 times. This is my favourite Springsteen song. Not one of those fantastic concerts has Cadillac Ranch appeared. Its such a crazy Rocker it should be included in every setlist. Last time I saw him in 2023 I knew the song was not going to come so that made it easier to relax and not expect it. And with it being played 1 out of 70 shows it seems its gone for this tour. If I could do a request to Bruce it would be ” Please play Cadillac Ranch not nights in Stockholm 2024”.

Less expensive tickets are out there, and they're not that hard to find either.
Hopefully Springsteen gave a massive donation to the food bank considering what he charges for tickets.

2:22 What is that? I hope Bruce told the wannabe pirate to play a solo that sounds good in the key of C. The EASIEST KEY of ALL, and this guy whose worried about exterminating republicans can't play a decent short solo. Pretty sad. I've never seen a professional musician butcher a solo so badly.

Tickets for the Houston show were as low as 20 bucks a few weeks ago, and 5 bucks within a week of the show. Keep an eye on them they do drop. If anything, blame Ticketmaster's and StubHub's shitty AI powered ticket pricing algorithm. This is happening to other artists too sadly :/
