Brilliant video, I think this is the best way to go for all you're live streams, because even watching you're old live streams back for a 2nd time the quality doesn't fix it self.

I used to work at The Seacroft Pontins at Hemsby. Many happy memories. So good to see the changes, thanks. We could tell you many stories of those of us who lived on site in those small Chalets...ha ha.
Little did I know that I'd end up performing on stage at all the Pontins and Butlins years after.
I agree about those fences. So unsightly ha ha..prison of war camps..I nearly spat my tea out! Another Great video.

Thank you for this video i used to holiday in hemsby as a child remember the sand dunes and the beach came on holiday in 2015 as an adult with my daughter for the 1st time I couldn’t believe what had happened we love hemsby i hope its saved from the sea 🌊

I visited pontins back in May 2019. Can't believe how much it's changed now. I remembered when it first closed, now it's all been demolished.

Hi Tim. Missed your live in Hensby & Newport but just seen it today. So sad about the coastal erosion but it was nice to see the countryside and some of the houses. Enjoyed seeing parts of the holiday parks and rides which were open again. Keep up the good work. Marie

We went in this restaurant last time we were in Clacton. A VERY good meal from memory. Would definitely recommend! Excellent cod and chips. A definite 10/10 from us. 👍

What lovely weather been sunny and cloud in St Neots Cambridgeshire and just watching now as did not get to watch it early but love watching live and watching the video later if I miss the live video and i even watch the old videos again as not much on tv and find the videos more interesting then watching tv

Tim.... Your vids are great mate. Keep walkin' and I will keep watchin'. Stayed on Hawaii beach back in the 70s with my parents and return to Hemsby most years with my sprogs.
Tim found that walk very Intresting can't believe how the sea has eroded the Hemsby coastline , we used take our yearly holiday their 40 years ago , got great memories , great vlog Tim 👍

When you were at the bench that was my view waking up in our bungalow in the mid 80s to mid 90s. Was magical. The road actually lead up to like a mini sandpit and then down to the beach. It was like a slog to get up from the beach!

We have a chalet on seadell. We have a nice time there glad we have it during covid. Enjoyed your walk today. Didn't come down this weekend due to cold weather. Thought it would be busy due to Bank hol weekend years ago would be packed. Shame. Glad Gabbys OK.

Great walk Tim,so sad to see the changes at Hemsby, 48 years ago we were there, the dunes were amazing to sunbathe in. Such a difference now sad to see but the seas mighty ,no stopping its destruction, 😟 thanks again 👍

Cool to see they're doing something with the old holiday park. The walk from Hemsby back to Newport could easily be California, or the Hamptons on the east coast. Very Jaws, you're right! I'd buy that house if I had more money than sense.

Hi Tim, my goodness you brought back some memories for me. Used to go to Hemsby every year with my parents (I am now in my late 60’s).
Seacroft used to remind me of ‘feeding time at the zoo’ as the restaurant was facing the main road!!! I also recall Maddison’s (then became Pontins…).
Most of the shops use to be owned by the Bevan family…including a VERY nice (but slightly dated restaurant on the corner, where the waitresses wore black with white aprons!!!).
Lacon Arms was my dads favourite place, until the fire and it closed for a while.
Can’t believe the state of the beach……where did it go!!!!! It used to be such a huge beach, with ice cream vans and donkey rides!!!! We used to stay in a private hire bungalow in Fakes Road…overlooking the Marhams.

Seabreeze caravan park was where we had hoilday in the mid 1970's to 1980's.
Next door Newport seem more modern and advanced then.
It had changed a lot when I went there before Covid.
I remember the The hire shop on Newport.

There is a cut through to the hemsby beach road through the florida site, do a right into the florida site entrance, walk straight, past the florida clubhouse you will see a little open gate, walk through there onto seadell site, walk left cutting through chalets and you end up at the seadell shop up the top! Cut off a lot of time

So sad to see the erosion and also a history of the time we lived through at that time with various degrees of lockdown in your videos of the time.

Dad took all of us to yarmouth every year , come time to take the keys back , we would beg Dad that we would rather go to another sea side resort next year . He would come back and say ' I got a good discount , so we're coming back next year ! ' Still looked forward to next year !

Missed the live showing cos was out on our walk but just caught up. Loved that walk along the beach path from Hemsby to Newport, but so sad to think how much of the dunes have disappeared. In a few years your videos will be of huge historic value if more disappear, although I really hope it doesn’t. Coming to Norwich in May to see my daughter so if the weather is good will try to visit Hemsby/Scratby/California - can’t wait!!🥰

Another awesome vlog Tim keep them coming.I was in hemsby last November the changes do surprise me in the short space of time.maybe on a future vlog you could do a pierce on Hemsby inshore rescue service which is an independent lifeboat nothing to do with the RLNI 👍
Good point and people probably don't know its mainly inland water too
With the current climate they haven’t been able to fund raise

hi tim the tattoo shop in pink was by maria's cafe had to move because of the new car park we get all our tattoo's done there every year. it is called bohemian ink and the staff there are so nice.

Winterton is nice as well, awhile back there was a terrible fire ,the heather all got burned down, used to go on walks there, haven't been there since,

The erosion is really bad there. I lived on the marrams between 2001 and 2004. Someone said back then the coastal side will be gone in 15 years or so. Seems they wernt far out.

Yeah what alot of people dont know is that the seabreeze club is owned by the same family that own the seabreeze caravan site and the daughter of the dad who owns vics bingo ... his daughter owns the amusement arcade where they have the eatery/bistro and bar.

@@WalkWithMeTim yep ive known the family for some 20 plus years... what put me off was the reality that they make so much money that they spends a few months of the year in Miami... dont get me wrong they do work hard for their money but i dont believe that gambling is good when their are people on the streets homeless... i have been homeless before due to fleeing threats to kill served on us and GYBC refused to help... they didnt even give me time when me and my family were mentally
ill.
its weird to see pontins hembsy knocked down i worked in seacroft as a chef 30 years ago it was a good job

Been home a week very strange parking in the carpark at hemsby when it used to be a restaurant they could do with a gate to walk out the carpark instead of going all the way round 🤣 excellent video x

Been going to hemsby for many years.. even remember when the other fish and chip shop was there before the fire.. nice they cleared area for a car park but it’s a shame Maria’s got swallowed in to it as well..

Hi Tim been looking at buying a chalet on Bermuda site found out service charge is £1300 but access is only March to October
Yep sound right all tho some sites alow you on 11 months of the year
Its a long walk to the sea if you are in first block of flats
You can go another way
